That's not your physical body. We're literally souls right now, our physical bodies are off rotting somewhere or.. in some peoples' case probably being digested or burned or whatever happens. But since it's a soul, I'd imagine if the memories are missing then the form itself would be somewhat malleable. I don't have any proof of that, of course, but I wouldn't say that it's impossible. There's another possibility that goes a little sci-fi in terms of parallel universe possibilities, but who knows.
