They can feel pain, especially physical pain. Their emotional centers are still there as well, buuuut anything from their past or present that causes emotional pain gets sealed within their memory. Even I can feel physical pain, though, and I would recommend against causing physical damage to any of them if you want to remain on good terms once you find a way to get them back. Plus, to make them relive physical pain wouldn't it require that you were present in the first place to know the nature of the injury?
