However, even if they're dead and Midorima isn't afraid of some pain (no pain no gain after all), the fact that if they got injured and stuck it meant that the shadows could easily catch up to them made it a bit more frightening.
Still, Midorima reached into his pocket. Before he'd headed down here, this particular brand of moron had gone far enough to go grab some lecture notes to make sure he had his lucky item. He'd been number 1 in luck the day this had started and since the lucky item listing on his phone had been too vague, he hadn't managed to get the correct lucky item, it certainly lent credence to his idea that it was, as always, a 100% necessity. So he really had taken the time to get lecture notes from one of the classrooms before he headed down here.

Still, seeing Akashi was somewhat different than his expectations. Even if he'd seen the name in his phone, actually believing it was another story.
