21st: Seems like a pretty normal day at school, nothing really too abnormal about it, but if you just so happen to stop by the bathrooms for a bathroom break, you’ll realize that the lights are out and there’s moaning coming from inside! What could it be—is there a ghost in the afterlife?! Is that even possible?! Who knows! Maybe the fuse just popped.  If you dare go in to investigate and open up a stall, the moaning will stop, but then something will start banging on the other stalls!  But going in in the first place may not be smart since the door will lock behind you.

22nd: Some people here may have noticed that the restaurant in town has been on a bit of an asparagus kick lately. Maybe someone in there just really likes it, but whatever the reason, they’re going to promote the beloved vegetable more with an asparagus eating contest! So tonight, if you step on in, why don’t you join in the fun and see how durable and big your tummy is and eat as much asparagus as you can. At least it’ll all be free, no food ticket needed here!

23rd: It's that time of the year and clubs are putting up posters and opening their doors after school to recruit some new members. All throughout the day, teachers and councilors will be encouraging students to go and sit in on clubs and try to join some. So go ahead, look around, peak into a room or two! You might find something you like.

24th: If you just so happen to be walking past the garden and greenhouse today during break time, you might notice that the poor little flowers look a little dry and thirsty. Looks like one of the students forgot to water them yesterday. Could there possibly be a kind soul who'd stop by to give them some water?

25th: GLITCH ALERT! Being short has its advantages, but it’s not exactly advantageous when you’re just a few centimeters tall. Which you just may find yourself today. Wherever you are, you’re suddenly the size of a pebble and everything around you is ginormous. Haven’t hit a glitch like this in a while have you? Well, let’s hope you don’t run into a giant cockroach, talk about scary.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: As it says above, on the 23rd, all clubs will be welcoming all students to come and sit in on club meetings and possibly try to recruit some new members. There is a list of clubs here! If any character wants to join a club, please fill out the form on the linked post.

[ At the noise of chair-dragging, Yamashita sticks his head out of the door to his room. ]

Hmh? What's that for?

[ Kobato stops dragging the chair and gives him a nervous look. She still can't get over living with two complete strangers who are both boys, alright. She even sounds a little mumbly. ]

I-I wanted to summon a feast.

[ Yamashita would be a lot more awkward about living with a girl, hadn't he befriended so many loli-ish characters over the past time. He tilts his head. ]

Summon? Is the chair a sacrifice?

[kukuku]

[ Her being pretty young probably helps, at least. ]

No!

[ She looks like she's trying not to huff at having to admit she's short, but she smirks in the end and decides to continue her act. ]

'Tis a grand tool in the demise of the necessary ingredients to cast the spell for such a dark feast, kukuku..!

[ She's going to destroy ingredients with a chai-- Aaaaah. Watch realization dawn on his face. ]

Do you need any, uhhhm, shadowy assistance?

[kukuku]

[ Well that was simple. She puts the chair down because he's taller and should therefore be able to lift that chair without dragging it. Kobato's going ahead to the kitchen now.. ]

[ He stands there, confused for another minute and then - lifts the chair and follows to the kitchen. His personality is sometimes amazingly obedient. ]

[kukuku]

[ She looks like she was about to peek out after him when he isn't following immediately but looks proud and pleased when he comes in with the chair. ]

Kukuku, your ability to obey orders is impressive.

[ Somehow.... that doesn't sound like a compliment at all. And he's just standing there with the chair in hands. ]

So... what now?

Place the throne relic here.

[ She motions to right in front of the counter. ]

Throne...? Are you sure about that? It's so plain...

[ That's a simple chair!! He's not going to argue relic because they're all dead and dead people's belongings end up relics or something. So hey.

He's still obeying though, so doubt aside all is well]

[ Make believe, Yousuke..

She climbs up on the chair once its in position and sits on her knees on it, ending up the perfect height for the counter. ]

Fetch me some more ingredients!

Uh, let me see... what do we even have...??

[ And here's the point: Yamashita sure hopes that summoning a meal meant being able to cook it because else there might be trouble. Ingredients, well huh.

He'll just look around and bring about everything edible that he can find around, belonging together or not. Because what does he know. Maybe there's a recipe to combine that. ]

[kukuku]

[ Yamashita would be right about that. It wasn't as though Kobato was a real vampire or and she wasn't deluded into think she could do real magic.

Of course, her brother was always the one who did the cooking in her family so she didn't exactly know what she was doing.. so really, it was probably good that Yamashita was there to supervise anyway. ]

Lots of garlic~!

[ Not that he's opposed to garlic, but that... does sound weirdly normal. As he changes directions of his search and gets the garlic and stares down at it, it just seems odd. ]

Isn't garlic bad for dark magic or something? That seems like a weapon of vile humans to me...

Or is it to build up garlic resistance?

[ Because that would be badass. He doesn't believe in her occult talk either, of course, but he has fun enough just going with it. ]

Garlic resistance is of the utmost importance, mortal. After all, though it doesn't kill us it may sometimes repulse... Kukuku, but my resistance has been fortified in the dark abyss, I need only consume lots of garlic to maintain it!

[ She likes that he already gave her an explanation for it so that she didn't have to come up with one, honestly. ]

[ And he's ridiculously proud his idea is being accepted right away - honestly, he doesn't mind her vampire roleplaying at all. Compared to the awful things that often happen in the Afterlife this is the nice and easy way to feel like you live in a TV show. Also it's cute.

At the explanation he claps his hands together happily. ]

I knew it! You must be the strongest of them all then!
