WARNINGS: III can’t think of any.
SUMMARY: It’s the first student council meeting and it’s time to plan the school trip.

Welcome to the first ever student council meeting! Because this is the first meeting, the agenda for today will be rather short;

1. Introduction from the president
2. Roll call
3. DISCUSSION:

a. School trip
b. Other business (matters that aren’t written down but should be brought to attention etc)

4. Date of next meeting

5. Dismissal
 

This will all be kept to one thread and it will be a group thread between the four members (the NPC is free reigns; whenever it is felt he should speak, like during roll call, anyone can voice him in their tag). I’d like to keep the order Naoi -> Haruhi -> Asuka -> Sena just to keep things organized and so we don’t end up skipping someone for 3 rounds and they’re lost on what to do. Unless you’re given the OK to skip someone, please don’t do it!

[It feels like it's been far too long since Naoi has gotten to sit in the meeting room. Probably because it has. He can't say he's ever gotten months off of student council before in the many years he's been in this damn place. But boy does it feel good to be back--and in the president's seat too! The rightful place for God obviously so it's not surprising though sadly he won't get his daily beatings from Kanade now.

Once everyone is seated, he speaks up] Good afternoon. Today's meeting has officially started so let's now begin with roll call. Simply state your name, a task I should hope you all can manage.

Ayato Naoi.

Just our names? That's so boring! Even more boring than classroom introductions!

[ Translation: wow, Naoi, you should be lucky that she brought her bait blackmailing items for later. But for right now, there's a pout on the brunette's face as she crosses her legs over, folding her arms over her chest before she finally sighs and complies, tossing her hair aside. ]

But whatever. Suzumiya Haruhi, former brigade chief and your student council vice president, if you can't already tell.

[ And yes, she's wearing an armband that says "Vice President", deal with it. ]

[Asuka totally agrees about the "boring" part, but she understands that all of this is a formality, so she doesn't complain. She sits up nice and straight, and even manages a polite smile.]

Asuka Langley Sohryu. I'm going to be your student council secretary.

[Sena is torn between being happy to be part of the club and disappointed that she didn't win president. She didn't even win Vice President!

... Social chairperson was pretty good, though, wasn't it? It sounded like something a popular person would have. And so, as if she hadn't lost the position she campaigned for the most, she spoke just a bit arrogantly.]

Kashiwazaki Sena, and I was chosen for Social Chairperson.

[Wow what do you all expect roll call to be!!! This is how it's always gone so shhhh. Naoi just gives Haruhi an annoyed look at first then waits for them to finish.]

Hikaru Takanashi, I'm student council historian.

And as you all know, I, God, am your student council president. You all should be grateful to have been chosen to be here with me. Now, Secretary Sohryu, announce the agenda for today's meeting then we shall continue on.

Just for the record, I'm not going to call you 'god'.

[ She'll just roll her eyes, not caring about that annoyed look that's coming her way. But yes, she's going to be a little disruptive before she allows the secretary to continue with the day's agenda. ]

[Thank goodness someone said it, Asuka thinks to herself. It means she doesn't have to! She clears her throat, an attempt to try and rein things in before they get out of hand, then continues.]

Now that we've all gotten to know each other, our first order of business is the upcoming school trip. As the student council, it's our job to decide on a location.

[Although she delivers her response professionally, she can't help but wonder: where... could they go...]

[Sena didn't say it only because Haruhi beat her to it. She may take to the title goddess but she didn't apply it to other people.]

Eh? It's not like we can leave so we should just make something here instead.

If you will not refer to me as God, as you should, then "President" will suffice. [Oh he will have his ego stroked one way or another girls. Then he looks at Sena]

Such as a school festival?

We should definitely do a school festival! I mean, we didn't even get to put any input in the last one. Though that was more of a culture festival, wasn't it?

[ She'll tap her chin inquisitively before another idea pops in her head. ]

Though if we do have to go on a school trip, why not go camping in the woods? That way we can have a bonfire, a sing-along, have people learn "survival" skills, [ And yes, those quotation marks are actually real air quotes. ] and we can have a test of courage. I know some schools do that.

[Asuka listens to what they say, nodding in particular at Haruhi's idea.]

Camping sounds fine to me. It's not as amazing as going somewhere new, but it is something different. And if we go with Haruhi's suggestions, it might not be that bad. I think it's a good idea.

[Sena...doesn't want to like her idea but it's a good one. The thought of camping and being under the stars and singing...she really likes it.]

We should go camping! [She's so excited about it that she raises her hand.]

A-and the festival. [She has to stand behind her idea, too.]
