WHEN: October 28th, aka that same evening of the event.
WHERE: Restaurant, town area.
WARNINGS: Mentions of death?
SUMMARY: Mr.Black wakes up from death, the maid cries, FEELINGS ensue. I'm so good at summaries.

[ It's over. The culprit was caught, everyone went home, and Chihiro was staying in the restaurant, at that same dining table, waiting for his old classmate to wake up. The thought of changing back into his uniform didn't really cross his mind, so there's a little maid sitting right next to a bloody corpse. Nobody's around to witness such bizzarre display.

Tonight, he learned that even if you don't get to Yurippe's bad side, stuff like this is going to happen anyway. Seeing Leon die for a second time in a row was the least thing he needed, and although he's trying to stay strong, he can't stop the tears that have been constantly rolling down his cheeks even during the investigation. He's so tired. It's pathetic how flimsy his wish to become stronger actually is. Take him to another school, and he's back to square one.

He glances over Leon's body from time to time. The more he looks at it, the less scary it becomes, fortunately enough. Please wake up and let's go back to the dorms, Kuwata-kun... ]

[ From the way she actively dressed them up, yeah, the fact she was behind this all is just obvious. ]

Yurippe..? W.. what the hell, she did this?! For.. for a lame game?! [ Oh, now his temper is flaring up. Sure, he didn't die fully, not all the way, but he practically did, right?! Just so she could.. play some sort of game?! What the hell was she thinking, using him for something that lame?! ]

[ Leon, remember that you're in front of Chihiro.. ]

[ Good job Leon, A++, you obtained the Scare The Crap Out of Chihiro badge! His reaction may be understandable, but the poor Chihiro is not the best recipient of angry yelling. The tears that were about to stop are just going to flow ten times worse. ]

[ Is that an achievement.. But yes, he rambles on for a moment or two more before he actually realises that Chihiro is.. crying and.. stuttering-- ah, wait, what happened..? He hardly even realise it's from his own explosion just now. ]

W.. why are you sorry..?

I couldn't... prevent it... and you were killed again... and I... [ He hiccups, shoulders twitching. It's also Leon's outburst that is making him shake and cry, but it's especially... guilt, surprise surprise. ] I saw you die... again... I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry...

[ ... Huh?

Chihiro is.. feeling guilty? For watching him die and not doing anything, being unable to do anything.. it's strange. Last time he died, back home, he felt like nobody had shown him mercy. Deep down he might have understood it, even though he definitely hadn't on surface level, but even so it had seemed like they were all okay with just letting him get that 'punishment'.

But now.. Chihiro's crying right here, for him, because Chihiro couldn't help him..

.. It's a feeling that leaves him speechless, as selfish as he usually is. ]

.. Don't cry about that shit, Fujisaki. It's not like you could've helped it. [ He seems a lot more awkward than angry now.. ] It's Yurippe's fault, not yours! So.. d.. don't cry..!

[ It doesn't help him stop crying... but he understand what Leon means. But... he can't help it, if only he was strong enough- if only he could stop Kuwata-kun from killing Maizono-san, if only he could have prevented all of that from happening... maybe they could have stood strong against Monobear, none of them would have fallen in despair, maybe he himself wouldn't be dead even though he has no damn clue what exactly killed him... the angry image of Mondo haunts him in his dreams as well, and he... can't understand why... why...

Chihiro... reaches out, and... and he takes hold of Leon's sleeve, a spot that doesn't have blood. He needs strength, and he can't find it anywhere- so he holds onto his friend that revived just now. ]

I'm sorry... I'm sorry I'm so weak... I can't-- can't stop...

[ He doesn't know what to do. For a moment he's just standing there awkwardly but panicked on the inside, his brains trying to hurry up and find something that will make Chihiro stop crying already, since seeing that face arises a sense of.. what.. guilt, maybe, inside Leon that he would rather not deal it. It's an emotion he always tries to surpress, after all.

But suddenly he thinks of the first day here, of how Chihiro had been crying back then too and he had stopped when Leon had.. hugged him..

There's still a moment of hesitation at that - isn't it weird to do it now? - but then he just lets go of common sense once more and moves so he can grab his classmate, pressing Chihiro closer to him, blood on his outfit be damned.

(There's probably a vague part of Leon that realises he's hugging a cute girl in a maid outfit.) ]

Don't say sorry..! Don't apologize when something isn't your fucking fault! [ He sounds somewhat frustrated at it, but it's not an outward sense of anger like usual. It's more one that's aimed towards the inside, at himself - isn't he the useless one here right now? ]

[ Chihiro has another startle, not... expecting this, even despite how it happened back in the festival. The strong smell of blood is unsettling, and his maid costume will totally get stained by the time they break it off- but the warmth is... comfortable, enough to make him stop sobbing that much. He tries to hug back, to give comfort as well- he figures that Leon obviously needs it after being killed like this...

The sound of his own heartbeat pulses in his ears, and he's not sure why it even beats at all if they're dead... ]

[ He sniffles, face hidden in Leon's shoulder- fortunately not in a bloody spot. It wouldn't be pleasing to have his face stained in his friend's blood. ]

S... sorry... [ For apologizing, that is. ]

[ It's still weird. Even if it's the second time already, it's still.. definitely weird, just having Chihiro in his arms like this. At least it did what he wanted to do, 'she' isn't crying anymore, so that's a good thing.. His hand awkward rubs Chihiro's hair a little, as if he isn't even sure what to do with himself anymore.

At least it calms him down a little in another way. The anger from before ebs away to a place where it's temporarily locked up - no doubt he'll lash out at Yuri later, but right now he can't find it in himself to get angry. He's.. okay now, after all, despite what his bloodied clothes might say. He doesn't even feel weird. ]

... Feeling better now? [ As if it happened to Chihiro rather than to him. ]

[ Eventually, Chihiro gets used to the blood smell, as macabre as it appears, given that it's his friend's blood... the one who's hugging him now. His answer comes a little broken, since he's still crying despite calming down. But the headrubbing feels... nice. Kuwata-kun is warm, even if his body was cold just a moment before... ]

[ But he doesn't want to let go just yet, ok... Since Yuri showed him that injuries can heal overtime, he needs to make sure. ]

How... how is your wound? Does it hurt...?

It doesn't hurt, but.. I haven't looked at it yet. [ He pales up a little, moving to loosen his grip on Chihiro (sorry, Chihiro..) so he can put his hands on the underside of shirt of the costume put on him, lifting it up a little. Apparently he has no shame in showing off his chest to a girl, welp.

He touches the skin a little, but there's no wound either way. Even if it's obvious where the wound was, since the blood gathers there, there's.. just.. nothing. He stares with wide eyes. ]

... Y-Yuri told me that our bodies heal on their own when we get injuried. She... c-cut her own hand and made me watch... it healed in a minute.

[ MAYBE HE'S DOING IT ON PURPOSE, HUH.

Okay, no, he isn't, but he still doesn't look very ashamed, although he's still poking the spot where the wound's supposed to be.. ]

T-that girl did that?! She's a complete psycho!

But it's true- we... our bodies can withstand anything, and we can't die here- even if we can still... be out for a while.

[ Uuu... how shameless! He grabs onto Leon's sleeve again now, looking aside. ]

This shit is crazy.. [ He's close to the kind of panic he's been in at Hope's Academy, really, but at least this time there aren't any lasting consequences like 'hey, you're stuck in this school forever'.. he desperately tries to wipe some blood off him with the arm that isn't being grabbed, but instead the blood just gets all over his hands too. ]

[ ... R... ight... they still have their costumes on. Now that it's pointed out to him, Chihiro's eyes fall onto the dress he's wearing. Welp... looks like the hug gave it some nice shade of red. He's a bloody maid now, cute... ]

I... know where my clothes are, b-but I don't know about yours. [ He doesn't even know how Leon got dressed at all- he was still in his uniform before the lights went out... ]

[ Leon still thinks Chihiro is super adorable in that outfit, okay.. he hasn't been able to take a good look at his classmate because of the whole surprise, but now he does he can at least realise that much. Man, a cute girl in a cute maid outfit.. at least something good came out of this, then? ]

Maybe she left them in the dorm. Let's go look there, I don't want to look this lame for much longer.

[ He could keep it all night long just for you, Leon. u3u

... Ok no he's right, they should... change clothes... it's pretty late in the night now, isn't it. He nods weakly. ]

[ It's too.. weird, almost eerie. It's the place he was killed, right? Even if he's alive now, he really just.. died...

The thought makes him shiver, but he just heads for the place's exit. ]

[ ... He nods, following along- taking hold of Leon's arm while at it. Who knows, someone might still be around and see them, and he wants to hide behind Kuwata-kun in case it happens!! Meatshield indeed. ]

[ MEATSHIELD.. well, he won't complain for now since Chihiro's in a maid outfit and all.. even if it looks weird since the two of them are super bloody with him in his suit and Chihiro as a maid. MAYBE THEY WON'T RUN INTO SOMEONE EMBARASSING? ]

... Shit, it's already dark out here-- for how long was I even out?

I-I don't know... I didn't look at the time...

[ Chihiro guiltily mutters, really, really hoping that nobody is roaming around here at this time of the night. What would they think of them? Even more frightened, Chihiro ends up tightening his grip on Leon's arm, walking a little closer to him. They look like a disgraceful married couple. ]

[ There's a slight 'tch' sound at Chihiro clinging on more -- not that Chihiro's grip is that strong, but it's just sudden and Leon is actually sort of a wuss.. if not just because of his mentality. But at the same time, telling Chihiro to let go now would just be awkward, so he sucks it up and walks on through the darkness. ]

I'm still going to give Yurippe a piece of my mind later, either way.

I hope she understand what she's done is not right...

[ But at the same time, he wishes Kuwata-kun won't be angry enough to hurt her or something. Kuwata-kun is scary when he's angry... very scary. Chihiro tries not to think of the murder that was committed back in the old school, but sometimes it comes back to his mind and it unsettles him even though he's practically clinging onto this guy right now. ]
