23rd: Ah yes, October, the fall season, the month for pumpkins to finally have their time in the spotlight. So grab your carving knives and get ready to dig your hands into goop because today in art class it’s time to carve some pumpkins! Make a cool design, or a scary face! How fanceh can you get.

24th: Everyone’s got a skeleton in their closet, right? Well if you don’t you certainly do now. In your dorm room and open up your closet to change clothes? Maybe on clean up duty after classes end and open up the cleaning equipment closet? SURPRISE!! There’s a skeleton standing up right just waiting for you. Careful though, it might end up falling on you when you open the door. It’s okay, they’re not real. Or are they the skeletons of some NPCs mwuahahaha

25th: Today in the parking lot that’s usually completely empty (parents are pretty bad at coming to visit their kids huh), there is just one car sitting in the middle of the lot. It’s a simple tan sudan, nothing special. What’s it doing there? Who knows. Investigate and you’ll find out that it’s completely locked and trying to smash the windows will only result in the object bouncing off of the glass. Inside though? Nothing. Wonder who’s it is?  Well there's blood splatter on the car tire, hmmm...

26th: It’s gotten a little chilly, but hey, maybe the cool crisp air is nice enough to go for a walk down by the stream on a pretty fall day. But when you get down there you’ll see—a boat! And not just any boat its… a pumpkin boat! Really, it’s a large hallowed out pumpkin made into a boat. Do you dare test it out on the waters? Let’s hope Monster Stream isn’t hungry for pumpkin today.

27th: Halloween is on its way and so is a Halloween party and a special little event!! To get you ready, the afterlife has made the convenient store in town into a costume shop! Better hurry and get the sexiest or scariest outfit. Want a new maid outfit Riki, or maybe a vampire or witch? It’s all there waiting for you so pick your poison.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: The Halloween event will begin on the 25th and go throughout the next week!  Characters are free to discover bodies laid out in random areas about the school or town and they can also discover murder scenes (a room with blood, a weapon, the works).  An OOC post will be made later tonight with further and more detailed descriptions of the event.  Have fun!

As always, remember there are several clubs now so practices and meetings can be set up whenever you want! And if you want to do something outside of what we've provided, feel free to do so.

SUMMARY: INTERACTION LOG you know the drill.

28th: Today seems as though it’s a normal day, right? Wake up, take a shower, walk outside to head to class and… the NPCs aren’t moving. Stopped mid-step they’re completely frozen all over the school grounds. Some may be in class already and frozen at their desks, others might’ve been frozen as they were walking to or around the school. Maybe you were outside just inside to see them come to a sudden halt. After an hour, they’ll return to normal and continue on as though nothing happened.

29th: The school festival is a month away and it’s time to start planning for it! Classes will get a free period to plan for it today and clubs will need to get together and talk about setting up special activities for the students if they want to participate. GET HYPED.

30th: Do you hear that? Outside of your dorm—in the hallway! It sounds like pitter patter of little feet running up and down the halls… a bunch of them too, and there’s even some little barks here and there. Open your door and SUDDENLY LITTLE SHIBA INU AND GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPIES RUNNING ALL ABOUT. Don’t deny them love, they’re ever so playful and fluffy.

31st: It’s so close to your day off—but the teachers decided they’re going to end this week with a math test. Ew, right? Hope you studied or this is going to suck.

1st: Even in the afterlife your uniform and clothes get a bit dirty from time to time, and it’d be pretty gross if you didn’t wash your underwear so go on, wash your clothes! Or… don’t. The washer’s broken—actually waters starting to spill out of it!!! Now you’re standing in a puddle, oops.

As always, remember there are basketball, kendo, drama and baseball clubs now so practices can be set up whenever you want! And if you want to do something outside of what we've provided, feel free to do so.

WHEN: February 13 - 17
WHERE: Anywhere and everywhere in this afterlife

SUMMARY: INTERACTION LOG you know the drill. Also some event stuff going on in here.

13th: It's the season of love. It's also the season of chocolates galore. Home economics class, it's time to get jiggy with it. Homemade chocolates go!

14th: In everyone's shoe locker when they enter the school, there will be a single piece of candy inside with a pink note attached to it saying "give to the one you want to be your Valentine". Meaning characters can give them to ANYONE even NPCs if they choose to do so. The effects of this candy will be none other than attraction. Who ever receives the candy and eats it will go all doki doki for the other person for a good few hours. Just remember that if they choose to give them to an NPC they will not remember the events from this day, tomorrow.

Of course remember this is optional, no character has to eat the candy if it's given to them and an NPC can even reject them.

15th: Look left, now look right. Some students might be giggling at you while others might give you a nasty look. What do?

16th: Wherever you happen to be in the middle of the day, in class, at the library, WHEREVER, there's suddenly a lot of noise coming from around the corner. If you investigate, two NPCs are going at it, throwing fists or maybe even just yelling at each other. Break it up, watch?

17th: Say, did you hear? Man you're slow! I heard that... (pick a random rumor, a NPC just told it to them, it can be related to your character or another!)

IMPORTANT NOTE!! Right now there is an event going on, for those of you who don't know (whether you're new or just didn't see) it's right here. Please feel free to create some rumors for your characters if you haven't already, even if you happen to be new! The event is going to last until the 22nd so have fun with it!

NPCs are in your control if your character interacts with them. Fights will generally be about disagreeing or agreeing with rumors and things like that and behavior towards your character on the 15th will be reflected from the rumors about your character. WHAT: Power outages and locked doors
WHEN: Day 1 (December 21st)
WHERE: Everywhere
WARNINGS: Nothing in particular, will be updated if necessary.
SUMMARY: Here.

The snow is cold, sprinkling lightly down from the sky. There are at least 7 inches on the ground from the continual snow that's been going on and on the past days. Still, it's a good thing that it's nice and warm inside, right?

Wrong.

The lights flicker. Then everything goes back to normal for about 5 minutes... then suddenly a power surge, this time the lights getting brighter, some maybe even breaking from the power surge's heat, but a second later everything is off. The lights are all off, the heaters, the computers and TVs and the PA system-- There's no explanation for it, but everything is off now.

Did you rush outside? Or are you just now going to peek outside your door to see if anyone knows what's going on? Be careful, you may find it locked behind you. Only choice is to go outside now, since you can't get back in there... There's no way that door could be locked too, you'll just peak outside...

SUMMARY: Winter fun all around

12th: Look Dave, IT'S SNOWINGGGGGGGGG!!! Students and other NPCs are beginning to hang Christmas lights all around the town and school too. Everything looks pretty at night, even the gardens in the town and school.

13th: Today in home economics class: its time to start baking some homemade cookies and making peppermint hot chocolate.

14th: Kendo club starts today in the dojo!! Some posters have been hung up around the school for a while. Anyone want to go in and try it out or maybe even join??

15th: Hey--look up! Yeah, it's exactly what you see. Mistletoe has been put up under almost every doorway! What now.

16th: A lot of the NPCs are heading up to the mountains today. Why? For skiing and snowboarding of course! Skis, snowboards and even sleds are in the gym's equipment room.  Who's up for some winter fun?



*As a little note, from the 12th until the end of the month it will be snowing! Nothing heavy but there will be a few inches of snow sticking to the ground.

Same things apply as last time! If you'd like to do something outside of the activities we've provided feel free to do so! Remember that there is a basketball team now so practices can be set up on whatever days you all choose.

SUMMARY: People doing stuff everywhere awyis

12th: DUCK INVASION.  Okay not really, but there are an abnormal amount of ducks wandering about today, just quacking about at the edge of the forest.  Some of them may even make their way on to campus and into the town.

13th: Basketball tryouts today!!  Some signs have been put up around the school for it.  Anyone up for some B-ball?

14th: There's a leak in the apartments pipes in town!!  I sure do hope you have afterlife insurance.

15th: FREE DAY.  Have something you want to do?  Might want to spend it studying.

16th: EXAM TODAY!!  Your teachers told you on Monday.  Weren't you paying attention?!  GOSH. (You can set up your tag so it's before the test and they're studying, during the test or even afterwards when all is said and done!) 

So if you didn't catch the announcement that was made a few days ago, from now on, once a month every month, we'll be putting up a log just like this with a few random events to support more interaction between characters!  If you'd like to do something outside what we've provided like just reading at the library or eating lunch feel free to!

WHEN: Evening today!
WHERE: Town area, starting in the restaurant.
WARNINGS: MURDER. Except minus the actual dying. Because of the already dead. Oops.
SUMMARY: Dinner turned murder mystery with costumes. More details here.

Everyone's been invited to a giant dinner courtesy of the Shinda Sekai Sensen at the restaurant in town! It looks like maybe a few people have been strong-armed into coming, but.. oh well. They're there to have fun and enjoy a good meal, right?
