It was Halloween, otherwise known as Hallow's Eve. And the stage was set for an amazing party, otherwise known as the extravaganza of the year. Haruhi had it all planned out: there were booths decorated in orange and black, balloons that looked like pumpkins, ghosts, and witches, games and prizes galore, live music, and so much more.

Sure, people may have 'died', but you know what they say: the show must go on! And go on, it shall. In front of the doors to the auditorium is an orange carpet and a rope blocking the entrance.

So, come on, relax, and have some fun!

Hungry for a bite? Thankfully, Haruhi has chosen to provide amazing Halloween-themed food for this party! With blood-red punch, spider cookies, cake, and so much more, the average food lover will never get enough to eat!

What do you mean hmph mmph mph mmmphphm? [ Yeah, Yuri's just gonna pretend that she had absolutely no idea what she said, even if she could make out some of it. She pulls down the veil over her mouth to stick a grape in. ]

It's breezier than I'm used to though. [ Nice warm thigh highs and a skirt are a lot warmer than semi-transparent poofy pants over tiny shorts! ]

I like the detail on your chainsaw. Does it work?

Oh not at all, it is a fake. Besides, I wouldn't know how to use a real one. I have only been trained to use military weaponry.

Like someone should stop her, she's got like 5 plates of sweets and she's heading over to a table with them with no intent to share.

When Levi comes over, she tilts her head. ]

[It's a bird, it's a plane, it's... Superman! Or Makoto dressed as Superman, actually. With his height and muscular build, he actually fills out the costume pretty well. He's not doing anything particularly heroic at the moment, though, instead admiring all the adorable Halloween treats for the party. He's pouring himself something to drink when he notices whoever just walked up to the table, so he offers a friendly smile.]

You want some?

Damn right, I want some. [Nice spandex, guy. Jean's looking a little silly himself.] Hey new kid, have I met you before?

[A-ah, that costume... Makoto has to stifle his laughter, but he shakes his head as he offers him the punch and reaches for another cup.]

No, I don't think so. I just arrived this month. I'm Makoto.

[Jean'll have another cup, why the fuck not? Hey, if you came from his world you wouldn't judge how much of a fatass he could be.]

A month? Man I'm getting behind on meetin' all you need people, where the fuck did you show up huh? The roof, maybe a closet, here's a good one-- the library.

[ Wearing a deerstalker hat and inspecting the punch for actual blood... Or alcohol. She won't allow anyone to spike the drinks on her watch. ]

[With all the time her roommate has been hanging around the punch, that must mean she knows how it tastes, right? Or maybe she just likes staring at punch bowls without actually trying any herself. But that's a little weird.

Anyway, Mary runs over when she spots Kirigiri and joins her in inspecting the punch for a moment.]

Does it taste good? [Or rather: 'Is it sweet so I can drink half the entire bowl with no regrets?']

[ It doesn't smell like blood or alcohol...

She takes an experimental sip, swirling it around in her mouth before swallowing. Just your average fake-fruit flavored sugar water. ]

It's fine. Don't drink too much of it, though.

[Sounds right up Mary's alley. Grabbing a cup, Mary scoops out some punch for herself and takes a big gulp. She's never tried punch before, so the taste wasn't quite what she was expecting, but it tastes okay to her all the same.]

I'll try not to! [While Mary sips on her drink she takes the time to look at Kirigiri's snazzy hat. Sadly any references or shout-outs the hat might carry in regards to detectives or anything else like that pass completely by her.] What did you come as? You're just wearing a hat...

[You're looking a little under dressed roomie, especially compared to Mary and the other party-goers.]

[This person hanging around the punch is totally giving him bad vibes. (Mostly for the fact that he was going to mess with the punch himself.) Still, he can't help but stare at her for a moment, himself sticking his finger in the punch before she can say anything.]

It's not acid, if that's what you're worried about. [Maybe something else happened to it already, who knows.]

[ The fact he stuck his finger in the punch bowl with zero regard for the fact that other people might want to drink it looks like trouble to her. When his hits the liquid, she makes a swift grab for his wrist. ]

It's not.

[That was pretty fast, so much so that it got Sougo's eyes to widen a bit as he slowly turns his head to the girl.]

Don't worry, my hands are clean. I wouldn't be so cruel as to lace it with some sort of poison.

['Hungry' doesn't cover how Kotarou is feeling right now. He's been up to get another plate of food at least three- no, four time now? Its hard to tell with the amount he's been eating. Either way he's going up to pile his plate high with more cake and sweets again right now.

He's also dressed up as kamen rider, Faiz specifically, as any true man should know. The helmet would have gotten in the way of his ears though, and all the eating he's doing, so instead he has a rider masked strapped to the side of his head for the time being.]
