[Being her usual mostly oblivious self, Celica hasn't really been bothered by the NPCs' strange behavior these past couple days. If anything, she's enjoying their apparent great participation in the lovey dovey mushy holiday and finding it adorable. And sweet, too, considering all the flowers and chocolates she keeps receiving from them. Though it really is too much, and it's getting hard to carry, so... she decides to just go around and pay it forward by passing some gifts to other people.

And upon seeing the back of a certain someone's head walking on by, she decides that person should be one of the recipients. And so she runs on over.]

Sougoooo! Wait up!

[On the other end of the spectrum, there's Sougo, who looks like he's just about to snap from all of these NPCs following him around. He's not one to garner attention (except from girls but) from people in the first place, and seeing the sight of all of these NPCs trying to force chocolate on him is making him see red all over. It's hard being a bishounen sometimes...

But at the sound of someone else calling out to him, his pace just seems to intensify, himself wanting to get away as far as possible-

That is until he trips on his laces and falls flat on his face, himself flat on the ground. By the time Celica catches up, a mumble can be heard from him.]

What do you want? Can't you see it's Valentine's Day? I'm having a rendevous with Floor-san here, and I think you're interrupting our precious time together.

[AS ALWAYS she figures he's just completely kidding and simply making a joke out of the fact that he had clearly tripped. Which looked as if it had hurt, by the way, and is why she speeds up a bit to get over to him and help out.]

Well, it's exactly because it's Valentine's Day that I wanted to see you! [Or well. Hand off some of these gifts to him, anyway.] Anyway, here. Do you need help?

[She leans forward to offer him a hand, but... in doing so, several of the bouquets and boxes of chocolate in her arms slip and fall onto him.]

--A-ah... Whoops... I'm sorry!

[And thus he is covered in chocolates and bouquets. For a moment, he's there motionless, but the air around him is definitely growing darker and darker, himself slowly getting up and brushing said things off to the side, himself lowly saying;]

If you truly offered apologies at this moment, you would offer up yourself to the chocolate gods and cut open your stomach. That is the only way I would take apologies.

[And slowly, his head is creaking to look at her.]

Unless you want to offer up your soul to myself, as well. I can ensure you you can have a quick and untimely death.

[AND CELICA IS JUST... oblivious to it as always, and just feels bad for having dropped that all on him. She squats down to pick everything back up, speaking while doing so.]

E-eeeh... I'm really sorry! You're not hurt at all or anything though, are you? That fall looked painful...

[She'd offer healing magic but of course it's not really... necessary here...]

[A slight twitch on his face...this girl really is getting on his nerves, as he sighs and moves over to help her with picking everything up.]

No, something like that isn't supposed to phase me in the first place, I'm built for punishm-

[However, he drops everything he has in his hands once he looks up at her face. What. What in the world was he seeing right now. This is something out of a shoujo manga...he's not from a shoujo world, he's from a shounen world...!? No, this can't be...is this place really just a slice of life shoujo anime that he got sucked into...!? Because there's no way all of those sparkles and...are those borders?! Rose borders?!

For a moment, he's staring at her in bewilderment, a finger coming up and poking her cheek.]

Oi. Stop that. It's annoying and bothering my eyes.

[And she looks up at him as he moves down and... what. What is happening. Why are there roses and bubbles floating around?! Why is the air pink?! Did someone spray some strange mist? Why would someone do that. What.

Sougo can poke away, meanwhile Celica is just reaching an arm out over his shoulder and past his head and just... flailing it around, trying to see if she can feel this sudden strange background.]

I'm not doing anything! What... what are you doing?! When did this all get here?

[...don't tell him she's actually seeing it as well. This can't be happening right now. For a moment, his face resumes it's usual blankness, before he stands up and stumbles a bit, his back to the wall.]

Bastards..they think they can get away with something like this? They think they can force this unto me...!?

[And without another hesitation, a finger flies up to Celica, himself shouting;]

YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THIS IS MY LOVE INTEREST IN MY AFTERLIFE SHOUJO ANIME!?!

[Meanwhile Celica just stays squatting on the ground, watching as Sougo comes to his terrible realization.

...Oh. Oh. Is that what this strange atmosphere around them means...?! I mean, it is Valentine's Day, but... It's not like she has feelings for him! Does he for her?! What is happening what--]

E-eh-- W-whaaat?! Love interest?! But... I don't even... W-why?!

[WHAT IS HAPPENING...]

[This can't be. Why couldn't it have been any other girl in the school besides the one that can't take any hints of sadism from him. She's literally the character that will end up flustering him in the end and that is not allowed in his world. Immediately, though, he's clearing up his throat, his finger pointing becoming more stern now.]

Listen up! Have you not seen any shoujo animes in your life? If not, then you obviously aren't aware of what that scenery usually forebodes! Let me educate you, you mindless girl.

One! The borders usually signify someone that is attractive, and that the main character would fall in love with.

Two! It is true that, by the end of the anime, the two end up falling in love, and end up having kids and marrying as one dies in a tragic accident, preferably the female.

Three! That leads to one cause of this; that me and you... [DRAMATIC PAUSE.] We are Soul Mates!

[Listening intently, Celica just stares as Sougo explains their circumstances. Is that... true?! Is this all true?! If that's really the case, then why did that weird backdrop only appear now rather than during any of their previous encounters?! It doesn't make sense...! And yet it is happening and. and. what. why.]

Soul... Soul mates?! I mean... It does sound lovely and very romantic, but... I would have never imagined you'd be my soul mate! [~~he's not ragna~~] That's not to say that you're not attractive, but... I hardly even know you, a-and... Is this truly what this all means, Sougo?!

[insert bang screaming "HOW CAN THIS BE" here]

[Of course it's true, he's seen how Shoujo things work, and this is a clear sign that something is in the works, to his own disdain. Of course, the look on his face suggests he doesn't like it himself, but with a shrug, he moves over to her, and places a hand on her shoulder.]

Looks like that fated night underneath that mistletoe was just destiny knocking on our front doors. I didn't imagine it to be true, but if the Gods foretell us to be lovers, then so be it.

[Side note; while he's comforting her, he's also pulling out a collar from his pocket. What he's intending to do with it...shall be discussed in the next tag.]

[It's not like she hates it or anything, but still...! Hearing this sort of thing so suddenly, and with someone she hardly even knows. Where do they even go from here, with this sort of knowledge...?!]

A-ahh... Thinking of this situation and that one... I suppose it would make sense! But... It's still a shocker... [~~he's!!! not!!! ragna!!!~~

And then she notes the collar and.. what...] What is that?

[He's not completely sure himself, but he's still stuck on the belief (and disbelief because let's face it he'll never accept this as reality) of what he saw, so.]

You're right, it is quite shocking. Though we have to make the most of it. [So he says, giving off a sage nod...

...right as he's already putting the collar around her neck and fastening it on her.] It's to let me know that you're my honorary bitch now.

I suppose so...? Though I'm not entirely sure how we'd even do so in the first place--

[--wait what!! Why is he putting it on her! Why did he even have one in his pocket in the first place... Admittedly this is. Kind of embarrassing. But she'll try rolling with it okok-- and start poking at the collar.]

Ehh... Why do you have this sort of thing anyway, Sougo? Do you have a dog?

Have you never seen what it's like to be in a relationship? How naive of you.

[Sougo what are you even talking about you've never been in one yourself. Though now that she does mention it, he's already fastening a leash on her as well.]

No, it's what I use to keep my bitches in tact. But if you're my honorary bitch, you have to do what I say, got it?

[A sheepish laugh. Even if she was close to it, Nine would probably step in and kick any guy in the face who dares to touch Celica in a way that isn't shaking hands. Which she has already done with Ragna BUT ANYWAY...

She just sort of watches as he puts the leash on, rather confused.]

As long as it's within reason, that's fine! Though don't you think this may look kind of odd to other people?

Well then things are about to change.

[For better or for worse, who knows. But either way, he probably would never want that sort of fate from Nine in the first place but he'll deal, okay!!

But right, he's just making sure the leash is on right, before tugging on it a bit.]

Odd? No, it's not odd. This is how I do it in my world. People give me funny looks, but they all get enemas either way.

[Her first relationship (???) and it's with some weirdo who's clearly into BDSM. Incredible.

In my world, anything really goes. Let me ask you this; have you ever seen animes that shatter the fourth wall? We acknowledge everything. And thus, anything can fly.

Though we get into trouble a lot, yet something like this is a little more tame then the trash we air. So, yes, this is a thing couples do.

[Her only option is Sougo wow that is horrible--!!]

I haven't, actually! But I see... It still seems really odd, I think. That's not really something that couples in my world do, as far as I know.
