5th: You're in for a treat today because in history class, you're in for a research project! Everyone will be assigned some historical figure then be sent down to the library for the period for reading and checking out books and working on your paper. Don't be brave and pull an Ooyama and eat chips down there though, you might get in trouble.

6th: If you're in the computer lab today, whether you’re chatting away to some friends on the chat, making a video post or typing up your research paper for class like you should, suddenly!!! Your computer turns off. Looks like an NPC accidentally tripped over a cable and turned off every single one. Oops, hope you saved whatever you were doing.

7th: It's time once more for gym class but today you aren't jumping, you'll be ducking and dodging more. It's time for a game of dodgeball! Whatever side you've been put on, get ready to run up and grab those balls and start throwing them. Just don't get hit by them, especially in the face because that might hurt. But hey, at least if you get hit you can wallow in your loss with whoever else got smacked out.

8th: It’s the last day of school until your one-day weekend starts, so instead of a test, how about a little group work? Today in health class, everyone will need to pair up and each pair will get a worksheet to fill out. Guess what you get to do? Name as many bones in the body as you can. Not exactly the greatest way to end your week but at least you can struggle through it with someone.

9th: Just like for the past while, everything still seems completely and utterly normal in the afterlife, huh? No rain, the NPCs are acting as they should, no weird, bug infested cafeteria food or sudden surge of animals spawning—but wait! As you’re walking around today you might spot something strange, though only for a split second. You blink, and whatever it was is gone. Maybe you caught what looked like an NPC glitch and freeze for a fraction of a second before continuing on like normal or what looked like a dark cloud forming over the school before disappearing and leaving a blue sky. How strange…

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Ai will be making many appearances throughout this interaction log. Remember that the search for the mystery program is still going on so feel free to use any of these days to have your character continue their search for it!

As always, remember there are several clubs now so practices and meetings can be set up whenever you want! And if you want to do something outside of what we've provided, feel free to do so.

[ With her teammate at her shoulder, Mami cranks her arm back in time with Sayaka. It feels refreshing, and oddly nostalgic, fighting with Sayaka again. In a way. A ball flies past Mami's head, but she doesn't even flinch, before throwing with Sayaka, hitting her target, a boy standing next to the one that Sayaka is likely aiming for. ]

You've still got your natural skill, Miki-san.

[She's slightly out of time with Mami but her throw hits the target with a resounding thud. It's not as elegant as Mami's yet it's still a hit.]

I just know how to throw a ball, is all. [This seems--nice. Nice being by Mami's side. Her eyes dart to the side.] C'mon, looks like we still have some time left!

[ Mami's not even terribly interested in the game, more so with being by Sayaka's side, protecting her from threats, offering instruction to her. It's nice to not have to think about difficult things between them for the moment, and exercise, in a way that is so unlike the weightlessness she used to feel with her powers. ]

A good defense is the best offense at times too, Miki-san. [ She's smiling though, letting Sayaka take the lead, scooping up a ball effortlessly waiting for the other girl's signal. ]

[It's kind of like a dream. She's finally fighting alongside Mami! Or well. Playing a game with her but either way, it's fun.]

So, we'll just keep attacking until they give up! [And there goes that ball. It smacks a large NPC in the shoulder.]

[ Combat is something that Mami understands, on one level or another. She can focus on just the task in front of her, finding openings, launching attacks. There's a reason why the other magical girls looked up to her, she was simply a natural when it came to these things. And somehow dodgeball seems to be similar enough that Mami has become nearly unbeatable. The other team can try all they like but Mami isn't getting hit any time soon, all while scooping and throwing. Her aim isn't perfect, but she manages to knock another two opponents out, leaving Sayaka and Mami alone against three others. ]

That's not quite what I mean. [ She knows what to expect when it comes to Sayaka's style, and while part of her wants to try to teach Sayaka...it's a little late now, and she wants to just enjoy her time with her friend. ]

[Sayaka nearly gets a few times but dodges before the balls can land. If anything? Sayaka Miki is a determined person. If she puts her mind to it, she's almost unbeatable in that pursuit.]

Close enough, I guess! [Those three? Were down to two now.]

I've got your back, Miki-san! Go! [ She means figuratively of course, since there is no way the other team will get behind them, this is dodgeball after all. What she means is that she'll protect her friend. ]

Look out! [ And she does just that, jumping in front of a ball that is coming for Sayaka, taking the hit, and hopefully giving Sayaka the chance to win. ]

You-- [That NPC is going down. She growls as she grabs the ball that knocked Mami out of the game.]

I'll finish this, Mami-san! [That NPC that got Mami out? Is out himself. Soon it's just the last two players. Sayaka's mad now. The next shot gets the last NPC out of the way.]

I did it!

[ Other students might wonder why these two are getting so serious about dodgeball, but Mami doesn't care. She's happy to hear that from Sayaka, cheering her on from the sidelines. As the last opponent goes down and Sayaka is still standing as the victor, Mami rushes to congratulate her, taking her hands in her own. ]

You won, Miki-san!

[Sayaka's face is flushed from the exercise and the praise. There's some pride in the way she's standing now.]

I did it!

[ Seeing Sayaka happy makes Mami happy. She isn't so conceited that she cares about having to get hit to let her team win, joining her friend on the court with a genuine smile. ]

Good job! I knew you could do it!

Ahaha, well, I thought I was a goner for sure but I managed to make it.

[There are no words to describe the pride she's currently feeling. It's good to have succeeded, even in just a stupid dodge ball game.]

We'll have to celebrate your win somehow, Miki-san. Is there anything I can make for you?

[ With the game over, PE ends as well, so they have to go back to their classroom and change back into their uniforms of course. ]

Cake?

[She loves Mami's cooking so dearly after all... Even if the memory of the dessert witch is strong, the memory of Mami's cooking is stronger.]

[ At the classroom, Mami isn't so worried about taking off her shirt or those shorts to get back into her uniform's skirt and shirt, still thinking of what to make. ]

I've always wanted to try to make a blue cake. How would that sound?

We can even invite Kaname-san to eat with us.

B-blue cake?

[Oh dear. She's just imagining it now. It's. Quite delicious in her mind.]

Blueberries, right? That sounds great!

Madoka would love it, too, I bet.

I saw a recipe for it before, I can go and try to find it in the library after classes.

[ Mami sees the face Sayaka makes at the suggestion and can't help but giggle a little herself. She's happy to make others happy, and she really wants Sayaka to feel better about being in the afterlife, if only to make herself feel better. ]

It will be nice...like before, when we used to get to sit around and relax together.. [ They were some of her favorite memories, sitting with everyone in her apartment, feeding them cake and tea and just listening to them all talk. ]

You make the best cakes, Mami-san! If you can find the recipe I bet it'll be delicious.

[This does seem to be making the afterlife a little more bearable. After all--maybe it could be like before. Even if Sayaka knows it can't really be like those carefree days... it's nice.]

It'd really be like then, wouldn't it?

You are flattering me, Miki-san. I just follow the directions as best I can. [ Yes, her cooking does often come out perfectly flavorful, but she tries to not let it get to her head. ]

It would be. And there are other nice people here you should meet too.

I know I couldn't make anything as good as you, even if I followed the instructions. [Sayaka likes Mami's cooking a lot, okay.]

There seems to be nice people here, yeah.
