WHAT: Souji's got a new roommate. (!!!)
WHEN: December 19th, sometime during this day.
WHERE: Boys' Dorm, room A-201.
WARNINGS: too much moe probably
SUMMARY: Souji has been roommate-less since his time here, but it so happens he'll be getting one today! Who, is someone he knows. Who.. he believes is a girl, so obviously something is going on here..! STAY TUNED FOR SHENANIGANS.

[The days seem to get chillier by the day, and while Souji is always out and about.. today is a day he's actually in for once. And there's a reason for that! Well.. it's because of them. Them being the four small felines currently curled up about the room. At least one have taken spot upon the teen's lap, one sleeping on his bed, another located on the desk while staring out at the falling snow and pawing at the glass. And the last? Probably curled up in the sink inside the bathroom.

There is one more. Though, a rather unusual "cat", with a springy curling tail with unusual intelligent eyes and watching from a high spot within the room. It was because of that one he even came to stumble upon the freezing felines. ..What kind of person would Souji be if he didn't help them? And since he didn't have a roommate, well.. it was convenient. So he can feed them and allow them to stay warm until Spring came around.

That is, until the door suddenly unlocks with a click and slowly comes to a open, and not by his own hands. ..Ah, so he did end up getting a roommate then. Gingerly he lifts the lounging feline within his lap which causes it to climb up onto his shoulders with a soft meow. Sorry Tatsu, it would be rude to not greet his new company- and not to mention explain the situation. Except.. the face he greets, is not one he was expecting.]

[ Chihiro pretty much feels a deja-vu coming once he opens the door. He had the time to gather his things before he was kicked out of the dorm room he resided in since the beginning, and made sure that nobody would spot him as he snuck into the new dorm building all the way to the second floor, where he found the new room. After checking with the keys so he won't mess up, Chihiro carefully slides the key into the hole, and...

Uh. Well. He... had to see it coming, but since it's a person he knows well by now, and someone who knows nothing about his real gender- poor kid's eyes widen in utter horror. Oh no... ]

[ it's not as if you're facing a serial killer... but, surprise he can definitely understand. this was someone he did not expect at all. from what Souji understands, she should be in the girls' dorm. so... why was it that she was here?

she definitely has a key to this particular room, how else would Chihiro have gotten in? ] Fujisaki-chan.. Hello.

[he still nods his head in greeting, nonetheless. but the puzzlement is clearly visible on his face. grey eyes never having removed from Chihiro since the moment she came through the door. and then, as if he suddenly understood, realization lights up his eyes-] Looks like they made an error in the rooming.

[he doesn't ask, so it's more of a statement than a question. what else could it be? but more importantly..] Ah- Sorry, maybe we should go talk to the office in charge..

[he sounds ready to help, because after all a boy sharing a room with a girl? how scandalous.. that is a huge mistake on their part. and obviously chihiro wouldn't be comfortable with the rooming.. wait, the least he could do is help with Chihiro's things. not that he's gonna touch her stuff without permission!] ..Do you need help?

[ That's when Chihiro notices... that they're not alone in the room. One kitty there, another up there, another sitting on Souji's shoulders... not even their cuteness can make up for the shock he's experiencing.

He doesn't even hear 3/4 of what Souji was telling him, only being perceptive when the boy mentioned... help? The kid reclutantly steps in, gulping while he can barely hold his baggage now. ]

Uu... y, yes...? [ He bites his lower lip. ]

[outreach]

[And so Souji crosses over to gently take the luggage in hand, moving to prop it on a close by table top.

Now, next.. ] ..Now that I think about it, I don't know who is in charge of the dorms. Do you happen to know?

[he speaks calmly, gently to try and ease the suddenly tensed roommate. it's just Souji it's not like he will do anything to harm his friend..! course the best he can do is try and relieve chihiro. everything should be fixed in no time. and if not, well.. we'll think about that when we reach that bridge.]

[ Chihiro is still uncomfortable, and moves his hands to press against his small chest when Souji takes the luggage. He tries to see the bright side of this... at least it's not a stranger, or worse, another rude person like male Yuri was, even though he was very helpful in the end, and Chihiro feels bad that the guy disappeared.

Souji has always been gentle to him, no matter how things ended up- so, the least Chihiro can do is calm down and... live with this situation, at least.

At the question, he shakes his head abruptly. No, if they talked with the staff- it wouldn't be good! Then Souji would learn of his real gender... but even if he doesn't, the situation ain't better. ]

No, I don't...

[Despite the situation, Souji catches onto Chihiro's hesitation and so he pauses.

He had been ready to act instead of asking Chihiro herself. Which is why, instead of moving on he decides to actually ask.]

.. What do you wanna do, Fujisaki-chan?

[He would still go with her to talk with the staff, they could fix it. But if they couldn't fix it- she would be stuck here anyways. After all, it's not like she has another room to go to.

But it was her choice on what she wanted to do. Maybe she wanted to go talk to them alone, even. In which was also fine. She probably needed some time to think as well.

(No that's Souji just being understanding.) ]

... I think it's best if we... stay like this for a while long. Then I could go talk with the staff myself...?

[ He won't... as much as he loathes having to lie to his friends, he can't afford letting anyone discover his gender, unless he himself decides that it's time they learned about it.

Taking advantage of Souji's kindness is going to tear him apart, but alas... ]

[ Souji is quiet for the most part, allowing her time to think and when he receives an answer.. well, it certainly wasn't what he was expecting.

He can understand wanting to speak with the staff alone, but if in the end Chihiro was comfortable with sharing rooms until then? It.. sorta seems like there was something to hide. When you have friends that have faced their shadows, such as Yosuke, Chie, even people like Kanji and Naoto.. it isn't that difficult to catch on.

The thing about being Souji, he doesn't go confronting it until the other person is ready. (That calls for something different if he stumbles upon it while trying to rescue someone, obviously.) So the teen blinks before he shows a smile, glancing to the cat on his shoulders who begins to try and bat at Souji's bangs.] In that case, feel free to make yourself comfortable. Sorry about the cats.. Winter gets a bit too cold so I thought it would be best they stay here for the warmth until Spring.

[ Chihiro is relieved that Souji is not questioning his reasons... it makes this all the more easier to deal with. He'll just have to tell him that the talk with the staff failed, and... yes, nobody else needs to know he's in the boys' dorm. That'll wait a little, though.

He glances at the cats again... reclutantly, he steps forward. ]

It's alright... are they stray cats?

[ Now that he thinks about it... this place being the afterlife, then it means these kitties died too... it's sad to think about, and since he's the kind of person who easily wears his heart on his sleeve, it shows from his face. ]

They are, at least some are. Some seem more people-friendly than others.

[so some could be pets or strays before they died. souji of course came to the conclusion as well.

when he catches sight of Chihiro's face, well... he takes Tatsu into his hands to then hold the purring happy young feline out to 'her.'

look chihiro, see how happy he is? don't be sad.]

[ Souji, you're so sweet, stop making Chihiro feel bad for deceiving you...! But the kitty does look happy. He tentatively reaches out to pet it on the head, although he can't help still feeling bad for how it must have died. ]

Maybe it's because they were domestic cats before... [ Won't finish the sentence, yea... ]

[ no you're just depressing yourself more, Chihiro...! Tatsu starts to purr louder, meowing again before he slips from the hold and starts to walk further into the room.

speaking of..] Well we'll be sharing company from now on with them.

[he glances to Chihiro's belongings before back to 'her' and gives a nod. as he said, make yourself comfortable!] If you need anything Fujisaki-chan, don't worry or be afraid to ask. I'll be happy to help in any way I can.

[ Chihiro retract his hand instantly when the kitty slides away. ]

Ah... I'm not against the idea of keeping them here, r-really. [ He was never used to keep pets, back home. In such a restricted area like a dorm room, even. ]

Are you sure the staff will let you keep them, though...?

Cats are quite sneaky, and can be evasive and keep secluded when they want be. They are likely to find someone with a dog than someone with a cat.
