28th: Today seems as though it’s a normal day, right? Wake up, take a shower, walk outside to head to class and… the NPCs aren’t moving. Stopped mid-step they’re completely frozen all over the school grounds. Some may be in class already and frozen at their desks, others might’ve been frozen as they were walking to or around the school. Maybe you were outside just inside to see them come to a sudden halt. After an hour, they’ll return to normal and continue on as though nothing happened.

29th: The school festival is a month away and it’s time to start planning for it! Classes will get a free period to plan for it today and clubs will need to get together and talk about setting up special activities for the students if they want to participate. GET HYPED.

30th: Do you hear that? Outside of your dorm—in the hallway! It sounds like pitter patter of little feet running up and down the halls… a bunch of them too, and there’s even some little barks here and there. Open your door and SUDDENLY LITTLE SHIBA INU AND GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPIES RUNNING ALL ABOUT. Don’t deny them love, they’re ever so playful and fluffy.

31st: It’s so close to your day off—but the teachers decided they’re going to end this week with a math test. Ew, right? Hope you studied or this is going to suck.

1st: Even in the afterlife your uniform and clothes get a bit dirty from time to time, and it’d be pretty gross if you didn’t wash your underwear so go on, wash your clothes! Or… don’t. The washer’s broken—actually waters starting to spill out of it!!! Now you’re standing in a puddle, oops.

As always, remember there are basketball, kendo, drama and baseball clubs now so practices can be set up whenever you want! And if you want to do something outside of what we've provided, feel free to do so.

[ The major encounters him the day of the test, perhaps just a mere hour away from when said test will be taken. It's really upsetting to see one of the Scouting Legion be so stressed about a math test-- not that she knows him too well, but she does recognize him. So she offers a friendly reassurance: ]

The test didn't look that bad when it was being printed out.

[ That alone probably means it'll be super difficult. ]

[Jean died in Trost, having never known Hange nor Levi in his past life. Just looking up to her from his squatting hunched position, face lifting from between his curled legs.]

...I'm going to fail.

[No use lying, what help would it do? Jean knew nothing of his subject. Was she a teacher? She sort of gives off that vibe, to old looking to be a kid in this school..]

How many points do you need to pass a class...?

[His already so low in math, every class really he didn't often show up to them..Not having much passion for this, not like the military academy.]

Aaah-- as for your second question. [ A shrug. ] I don't know; I just died, you know? [ She sounds waaay too cheery. ] If I had to guess, it would depend on how well you're doing in the class in other ways. In the future you could calculate your grade in the beginning, and then weigh it against possible scores to know how much you'd need to pass.

Or you could ask for extra credit.

[Looking up to meet her glace, she'd just.. died? That sounds terrible, why would anyone be happy about that. Jean squints, something.. about her seems familiar. Those glasses and that hair's so wild. Maybe it was just a coincidence but..she kinda looked like one of the few girls on his Scouting Legion pin-up calender they put out every year. Jean wouldn't have remember it at all if not for just receiving back as a gift for visiting Leon weird murder school.]

Mm... I was wondering when that would come up.

[ She straightens up, looking at him confidently. ] Indeed, I am-- yet it seems you don't know who I am, although I am familiar with you, Jean Kirschtein. Major Hange Zoe, of the Scouting Legion.

I have to ask, then, if you remember at all-- when did you die? From what I remember, you are still very much alive.

[The comment really threw him off, she knows Jean? But if what she says is true and she's a Major in the Scouting Legion why the hell would she know him? This was so weird, she didn't just know his name, she knew his full name.]

H-how.. do you know my name? Ah-- The last thing I remember is um..

[Still not sure he liked to call it the place he died, he couldn't even remember being bitten or eaten.. in fact he didn't feel any pain before he died. Sure, a titan had grabbed him but the last thing he remembered was someone killing it and both of them falling to the ground, un-crushed for that matter.]

Trost.. We ran out of gas and returned to take back the HQ from the titans who had invaded the basement. Ah-Ma'am.. [She was an officer, should he be formal?]

I've reason to believe that your memory has been tampered with in some way. [ It anything, she suspects it's because of those shadow creatures. Because otherwise all of these deaths don't line up. ] You're not dead in my world, at least not from what I remember. [ A laugh. ] Of course, in our line of work it's likely we will die either way...!

Anyway, [ Reassuring pat on the shoulder is a go. ] I think that even with a perspective of death, doing well in school is a good thing.

My memories..?! You mean we might not be dead? Hey, I've been thinking that too I- [A pause, you're not dead in my world, in our line of work..] How.. do I know you? I thought you said you were a member of the Scouting Legion..?

I don't remember dying. I remember falling unconscious, but from what I do remember the injuries I sustained were not lethal. Anyway, these muddles memories for most, if not all of us here must have to do with those shadows.
