28th: Today seems as though it’s a normal day, right? Wake up, take a shower, walk outside to head to class and… the NPCs aren’t moving. Stopped mid-step they’re completely frozen all over the school grounds. Some may be in class already and frozen at their desks, others might’ve been frozen as they were walking to or around the school. Maybe you were outside just inside to see them come to a sudden halt. After an hour, they’ll return to normal and continue on as though nothing happened.

29th: The school festival is a month away and it’s time to start planning for it! Classes will get a free period to plan for it today and clubs will need to get together and talk about setting up special activities for the students if they want to participate. GET HYPED.

30th: Do you hear that? Outside of your dorm—in the hallway! It sounds like pitter patter of little feet running up and down the halls… a bunch of them too, and there’s even some little barks here and there. Open your door and SUDDENLY LITTLE SHIBA INU AND GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPIES RUNNING ALL ABOUT. Don’t deny them love, they’re ever so playful and fluffy.

31st: It’s so close to your day off—but the teachers decided they’re going to end this week with a math test. Ew, right? Hope you studied or this is going to suck.

1st: Even in the afterlife your uniform and clothes get a bit dirty from time to time, and it’d be pretty gross if you didn’t wash your underwear so go on, wash your clothes! Or… don’t. The washer’s broken—actually waters starting to spill out of it!!! Now you’re standing in a puddle, oops.

As always, remember there are basketball, kendo, drama and baseball clubs now so practices can be set up whenever you want! And if you want to do something outside of what we've provided, feel free to do so.

[The heck is a code red? Mary whirls her head around to see who is making all the noise while still pressed up against the wall of a nearby building. She just spotted one of the teachers on the pathway across from where she was hiding so she can't let her guard down and give up her super sneaky act yet.

When she spots Kotarou she glares at him with a confused expression, visibly tilting her head as she does so. Again, the heck is a code red. Also, what's a campus, is she on one now? She thought this was a school, not a campus. She's never even been camping. Stop using words she isn't familiar with!]

[conversationalist]

[Did she not understand? Well, that was pointless...a change of pace; since she's hiding, Kotarou decides to speak in body language.]

What. Are. You. Doing?

[It wasn't spoken, of course, but instead he moved himself in a sense of charades, hopefully getting her to understand.

A shrug of the shoulders, a finger in a inane attempt to shape like an "r", a point towards the girl, and a pelvic thrust.]

[crayoned]

[... Dude. The real question is what are you doing? Mary stares at Kotarou's wonderful display of body language... And starts to giggle. She might have no idea what this guy is trying to say, but he sure looks funny!

BUT NO she can't fall into a fit of laughter right now. She could end up grabbing the attention of the teacher who just passed by like that. Mary covers her mouth with her hands as quickly as she can so to try and keep herself quiet. Her expression turns serious as she stares at Kotarou, hoping that he won't try anything like that again. If she ends up being caught because she gives herself away from laughing then that really isn't fair. She would have to go back and do that test. And that would suck. Big time.]

[conversationalist]

[Oh, she laughed...but it looked like she caught herself before something terrible might've happened. To Kotarou, her expression sort of looked like...

"I'm on a secret mission. If I end up laughing, it's all over."

Or...

"I have a bomb inside my stomach. Laughing sets the timer. We'll all die. Again." This is quite serious. Kotarou simply points to the teacher that's idly walking by and gives a serious expression of his own. He must be the perpetrator she's trying to catch!

Even if that doesn't exactly add up to whatever Kotarou might've made up.]

[Yes, that's exactly it! That person over there is the person she is trying to avoid, so the fact Kotarou is keeping quiet now and pointing to them must mean that he finally gets what she's doing.

Mary nods quickly, still keeping one of her hands over her mouth as she slowly and carefully pokes her head out from around the wall to see what's going on. Looks like the teacher is now talking with a group of NPC students. Maybe she should find another path to take, she doesn't feel like waiting around until the teacher finishes their conversation and moves on...]

[conversationalist]

[He nods and then walks towards the teacher.]

Excuse me. By the request of that girl over there, I'll have to arrest you.

[He points.]

[crayoned]

[WHAT. NO.

DON'T GO AND TALK TO THEM.

DON'T POINT HER OUT THEM EITHER.

Before Mary can do anything the teacher spots her and starts rushing over to confront her. She's not going back to do that test, nuh uh, no way. But what can she do now?!

... Spotting a couple of bushes, Mary jogs over and forces some of the leaves and branches aside so she and hide herself until the teacher passes on by. Hopefully the teacher didn't notice where Mary had picked as her new hiding spot before she had the chance to conceal herself.]

[conversationalist]

[He did, however. Man, guess that's not what she wanted either. So to make it up, Kotarou catches up and walks past the bushes, making the best delinquent voice he could make.]

Aaaaah?! Where'd that little girl run off too, that bastaaaard!

[crayoned]

[Is he calling her a bastard now. He is, isn't he. It's a good thing she doesn't know what a bastard is, otherwise she would take a lot more offense to that, but she can at least tell that he's calling her some sort of name. Jerk.

Mary stays put in the bushes, staring as hard as she can at Kotarou as he walks by. She'd rather not deal with him or the teacher right now.]

[conversationalist]

[Of course, as intentional as that was, he couldn't keep it up forever. So he backtracks back and kneels down, staring dead at the bushes she was in.]

Hey.

[Surprise.]

[crayoned]

[Shut up that wasn't a surprise at all she's been watching you. Jerk. By the way he's still a jerk.

Mary only replies when she's completely positive there's no one else around, just so this guy can't go and call over anyone else while she's stuck herself in a bush.]

What do you want?

[Not sounding the least bit grateful for all the wonderful things Kotarou has done for her this far.]

Perpet... Trator? [What.] I was avoiding them, couldn't you tell?

[Obviously not. But come on man, she thought it was easy to tell what she was trying to do.]

[conversationalist]

Ooooh, you were avoiding them. I thought you were on some kind of secret mission and he had some sort of password...

[Her face reads, "You're a joke."]

[crayoned]

I... Why would I need a password? I don't understand you.

[She shuffles a little in the bush, trying to get into a comfier position whilst still staring at Kotarou. Why can't bushes be softer?]

[conversationalist]

For the ticking time bomb.

[crayoned]

[...Ugh. She really isn't understanding this conversation at all. When did she anything about a time bomb? Better question, what's a time bomb?]

Huh-- Wha? You're not making any sense... Um, can you explain what you're talking about?

[Maybe he's teasing her, that could be it... Or maybe he's new here and he still thinks he's back home. Maybe this guy had lots of time bombs and passwords and stuff when he was still alive...]

[conversationalist]

Nothing, nevermind. [The conversation got tiring even for him.]

What are you doing out here? Were you trying to get away from something?

[crayoned]

... I was leaving class, that's all.

[And with that she pushes herself up, out of the bush and brushes past Kotarou as she starts walking back towards the path she was on before.]

It's nothing. [She's still wary he might try something again if she brings up she was only hiding to avoid going back to take that silly test.]

[conversationalist]

[Ah, the cold shoulder. Kotarou stalks, speaking casually.]

Leaving class? Ohhh, was it about that test? You shouldn't be taking high school level exams.

[crayoned]

[Oh he figured it out on his own. Well then.]

I don't know what level it was, I just saw the teacher handing out papers and saying everyone would have to sit in silence until they finished going through the test. I thought it was just going to be a normal lesson, so I ran... I don't like the sounds of tests.

[conversationalist]

Trust me, no one really does. It's a nasty thing. [Even if his grades weren't that bad.]

I think no one should care that much about it, however...so you really don't have to hide.

[crayoned]

So they really are nasty. [She knew it. Tests are to be avoided like the plague.]

But I do have to hide! The teacher that saw me earlier said something about 'going to detention' if I didn't come back, and then he started following me...

[conversationalist]

That's when you say "I'd rather die than go to that hellhole!" and punch someone.

[crayoned]

... Really? That's really what I should do when a teacher tries to take me to detention again? [Wow, that's all she needed to do all this time. Who knew!

She'll really do it Kotarou. Seriously. Her expression changes to one of curiosity, as though she's looking for confirmation that that's the right thing to do rather than doubting what Kotarou said.]
