28th: Today seems as though it’s a normal day, right? Wake up, take a shower, walk outside to head to class and… the NPCs aren’t moving. Stopped mid-step they’re completely frozen all over the school grounds. Some may be in class already and frozen at their desks, others might’ve been frozen as they were walking to or around the school. Maybe you were outside just inside to see them come to a sudden halt. After an hour, they’ll return to normal and continue on as though nothing happened.

29th: The school festival is a month away and it’s time to start planning for it! Classes will get a free period to plan for it today and clubs will need to get together and talk about setting up special activities for the students if they want to participate. GET HYPED.

30th: Do you hear that? Outside of your dorm—in the hallway! It sounds like pitter patter of little feet running up and down the halls… a bunch of them too, and there’s even some little barks here and there. Open your door and SUDDENLY LITTLE SHIBA INU AND GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPIES RUNNING ALL ABOUT. Don’t deny them love, they’re ever so playful and fluffy.

31st: It’s so close to your day off—but the teachers decided they’re going to end this week with a math test. Ew, right? Hope you studied or this is going to suck.

1st: Even in the afterlife your uniform and clothes get a bit dirty from time to time, and it’d be pretty gross if you didn’t wash your underwear so go on, wash your clothes! Or… don’t. The washer’s broken—actually waters starting to spill out of it!!! Now you’re standing in a puddle, oops.

As always, remember there are basketball, kendo, drama and baseball clubs now so practices can be set up whenever you want! And if you want to do something outside of what we've provided, feel free to do so.

[ Wow, this is incredibly dumb. Kohaku had been vaguely unsettled by his hated NPCs just staying still like that, but passing by those decorated by Mary's artistic hand he has to snort. In the end he doesn't have the most intellectual sense of humour. ]

Finally some individuality even for something like them..

[Oh yes, they're certainly all they're own individuals now. For example, the one Mary is currently drawing on is being given a nice pair of glasses, while the last NPC she drew on got a mustache!

Finishing up her latest work, Mary pops the lid back on her marker pen and turns around to see Kohaku.]

Does that mean you like them? I think they look a lot better like this.

[ He scoffs. No matter how nicely decorated, 'like' would never be a term he could associate with NPCs. ]

They're disgusting but they look a little better now.

[ With that, Kohaku turns his attention away from the painted faces and to Mary - he didn't know they even had kids here. ]

[Disgusting, really? Mary thinks they look nice! But she doesn't exactly mind the NPCs at all, frozen or not.]

You mean a lot! Look, see, this one has glasses on, they really suit him. And that one over there has a black eye now, it looks like they've been in a fight!

[A literal black eye, considering Mary used a black pen to colour in around the poor NPC's eyes.]

Good thing this is probably more permanent than a real black eye they receive here.

[ Any time he punched them, they just regenerated way too soon because that is what this place is like. So hey, point for Mary, at least with that. ]

It is, that's what it says on the pen. 'Per-man-nent' marker!

[She even waves the marker around to prove as she sounds out each syllable of the word on the side of the pen.]

A friend told me to be careful, 'cause what I draw with it might never disappear. So maybe they'll always look this good from now on!

[ Slow clapping here. Good kid, giving them some amusement value. So uch harder to associate them with mortal danger then. ]

Let's hope it does.

[Oh boy she's being clapped. Being a good kid feels good man.]

Yeah! Hopefully all my work won't just disappear tomorrow. But if it does then that means I get to draw more!
