Everyone's been invited to a giant dinner courtesy of the Shinda Sekai Sensen at the restaurant in town! It looks like maybe a few people have been strong-armed into coming, but.. oh well. They're there to have fun and enjoy a good meal, right?

[ Aaah, his eyes flicker over in Chihiro's direction, shyly and with it clearly written on his face that everything is not really alright. But he's not going to just admit that or anything. He'd rather not worry a complete stranger over his condition.

Mmnn, so he forces a sort of smile, but Keisuke isn't good at lying, so it's written all over his face that the smile isn't real. ]

[ Chihiro can see that... the "girl" becomes a little more concerned. ]

[ They're basically the same, then... except Chihiro can't tell lies to save his life. ]

[ A little bow, though they're on the table, and conversing with people from this distance is awkward. ]

Well... Yuri invited me to it, and it would be impolite to refuse- so...

[ More like he was scared she would do something bad if he said no. ]

Mnn, then I guess you didn't have much of a choice, huh ...?

[ Keisuke wouldn't know how to refuse either, sob ... ]

[ Chihiro shakes his head. ] But the dinner is good, at least... offering this to us was nice of her, I suppose.

Ah, yeah, I agree. It's nice being able to eat real food like this.

[ Seeing as he was used to eating artificial stuff called Solids in his world ...

Too bad being dead still makes it a little difficult to stomach food, though. ]

... But I wonder if it was necessary to make it so scary.

[ There are carrots shaped like fingers and then those riceballs made into skulls... ]

Mnn, who knows? I think it's really weird, but ... food is food, I guess. I'm trying not to think about it.

[ Hmm, playing with his food a little, cutting it up and trying to arrange it so it doesn't look like body parts and creepy things anymore. He really doesn't need any more subtle reminders that he's dead. ]

[ Chihiro tries to follow the example, putting a riceball apart with a fork. ]

[ Aw, good, he notices Chihiro following his example, and he's glad to have been able to help a little, he thinks. With something that'll make the food look less creepy. ]

Yeah. And hopefully there won't be any more dinners like this.

Maybe today was a special occasion we're not aware of.

[ What is Halloween... he never celebrated it. He picks at the onigiri and eats it in bitty pieces. ]

Shouldn't they tell us about it before they invite us places then? It's a little weird not to ...

[ Chihiro sure isn't happy to know he's dead. Then again, who would be? He doesn't even remember how he died at all. ]

But he thinks he may have found a friend? At least, Chihiro wants to meet him again sometime, so that's good!
