Everyone's been invited to a giant dinner courtesy of the Shinda Sekai Sensen at the restaurant in town! It looks like maybe a few people have been strong-armed into coming, but.. oh well. They're there to have fun and enjoy a good meal, right?

Yuri slowly seat hops her way all the way over to him. When someone gets up? Seat stolen. At least until she can get further down the table. When she finally does.. ]

[ He's noticed a little bit of her seat hopping since he really isn't doing much other than staring at his food and picking at it, and looking up to see the other people ...

He's a little weirded out, maybe, but that doesn't mean he won't speak to her! ]

Wh-What would I want to do that for? Even if the food was bad, I wouldn't overreact like that ...

Absolutely, but who could blame you? You're dead and obviously no one's come up to try to bother you into not moping to yourself at the end of the table. Good job on actually showing up to a group thing like this though! [ She smiles, a little warmly almost? ] You'll get along.

The warm smile isn't exactly going to make up for what she said before it, and his gaze quickly drops downward, his expression turning to a deep frown. He doesn't need to be reminded that he's dead. And he doesn't need it pointed out that he's moping by himself.

Mmnn, just ... going silent for a moment then. He's not really sure what to say to that. ]

We're all dead. You're not the only one. [ Most roundabout way to tell him that he doesn't have to suffer alone GO. ]

That still doesn't fix his problem, sob. It's not like he wants more people to be dead or anything! Why would knowing that fix anything. ;; ]

How's that supposed to make this better?

Because you're not alone so you don't have to sit at the end of the table moping alone. We've all been through bad things, too, even if not everyone remembers them. So, I want you to smile.

[ Aah, at least the girls got good intentions. She doesn't seem to be trying to upset him with this kind of conversation, at least. And he's having trouble being upset at her for very long. ]

Anyway, if you end up with some kind of truly real smile, you're probably going to disappear anyway so don't worry about it.

You can be happy, just don't get too content or satisfied if you want to keep existing. You'll get erased if you do that and your soul will reincarnate.

A-Ah, uh — got it. I guess.

Other than that, you can do anything you want. I recommend not following the rules, since you can disappear just by living normally long enough too. But if you get hurt, you'll heal. If you get "killed," you're already dead so you can't die again. You'll just get over it. It won't even take a full day, even if you get chopped up.
