WHERE: All around! Mostly at the school, since it is a school festival!

No matter where it is you woke up, if it's near buildings the sounds of merriment are all around. The shouts of people rooting for the winner of a game, students trying to pull in attention for their booths, adults laughing as they trip over themselves during a sport or someone screaming at the haunted house...

It's then that you realize you're at some kind of festival, everyone's invited, and no one seems to be bothering with money.

Then the realization that you're not even in your clothes. What the hell is this outfit? A school uniform? A janitor? A store clerk? Waitress?

No, no, the bigger question is deinitely "What the hell is going on and where am I?" With nothing but forest and mountains visible in the distance, it's kind of--

[His jaw drops, and he quickly struggles to regain his poise] Wwell, you ought a care, because I don't take kindly to rudeness. If you wwant me to followw you in your little rebellion, then you'd better givve me wwhat I'm due.

[ Raises hand in front of her. ] Former member of the upper class too. We're all the same here, no matter what you were before, unless you're better at something. Being rich or high-class or whatever doesn't mean anything.

Wwell, howw about this, then? Howw about the fact that as royalty of a wwarlike an vviolent race, I'vve spent my wwhole life learnin' howw to lead? Exactly! A lot of people do that though, that's just what I meant. Also that I'm not going to kiss your ass. I've got my own set of skills personally, even if I was born into a pretty wealthy family. We weren't involved in any wars, so they're different from your skills though.

I'll do it whether people follow or not. If someone wants in, that's by their choice. On the other hand, if someone gets in my way I won't hesitate to take them out. There aren't any guns or anything, but there are knives in the cafeteria and I'm pretty good with them. Or the archery club's bow and arrows, maybe I should give that a shot!

No guns? [He looks disappointed and grimaces. What kind of a place has no weapons?] Wwell, a swword wwouldn't be bad. You don't havve a single long-barrelled rifle here?

Well-- there was one guy who had them, but I didn't get a chance to figure out how. I can't find him anymore. I told you, thinks are way different than they were yesterday. If I can figure out how to get guns, I'll get me a pair of Beretta 92 pistols and.. A Browning BT99 for you.

[The brands mean nothing to him, but he nods, sighing] Wwhat I wwouldn't givve to havve Ahab's Crosshairs back. [Of course, he's the one who discarded it like junk in favour of his wand white science stick, but that didn't work out so well so Ahab's back in his favour] That gun wwas passed dowwn to me ovver centuries. Most powwerful hand held laser cannon anyone's evver seen. I could take out a sky wwhale at a hundred feet wwith pinpoint accuracy.

A laser cannon and a rifle are very different things. Anyway, you won't get it back. None of our possessions are here. I've looked.

I'm wwell awware a the exact differences. [He grimaces, irritated] Wwhat the hell am I supposed to do, then? Wwear this? [He plucks at his uniform jacket, disgusted] It's common.

I don't want to wear this either. [ She shrugs. ] You can alter it with stuff from the home ec class. I made these [ she points to her headband and her thigh-high socks ] there, so there are sewing materials.

[wwaterboy]

[Sew...ing...? Well, if it lets him put his symbol on his uniform, he'll do it.]

Later, I've got more important things to worry about than your wardrobe right now.

Wwhat? [Gosh, what's more important than his wardrobe, seriously?] Like wwhat?

The world changed overnight, I'm not going to just up and drop everything to get you Prada shoes.

[Mutters:] Wwell, it's not as though it'd take long. [He sniffs faintly] Anywway, I don't wwant to wwaste your vvaluable time. I'll go find it myself.

[He pauses and looks at her expectantly] All right...wwhich wway?

[ She waves her hand for him to follow, then heads toward the exit of the haunted house. Which, by the way, she finds hilarious to be inside of.

Once they're out, she points to a classroom on the second floor of the neighboring building. ]
