WHAT: School Festival / Arriving in the Afterlife!
WHEN: 9/30/2012. Morning through evening.
WHERE: All around! Mostly at the school, since it is a school festival!
WARNINGS: Potential violence, but since everyone's already dead it's not like it matters, BUT FOR THE MOST PART HUNKY DORY PG! So PG+V? That works.

No matter where it is you woke up, if it's near buildings the sounds of merriment are all around. The shouts of people rooting for the winner of a game, students trying to pull in attention for their booths, adults laughing as they trip over themselves during a sport or someone screaming at the haunted house...

It's then that you realize you're at some kind of festival, everyone's invited, and no one seems to be bothering with money.

Then the realization that you're not even in your clothes. What the hell is this outfit? A school uniform? A janitor? A store clerk? Waitress?

No, no, the bigger question is deinitely "What the hell is going on and where am I?" With nothing but forest and mountains visible in the distance, it's kind of--

I took a wrong turn and ended up at this school. But the most troubling thing is that I can't see to leave.

[He sighs.] Not really. It's my friend Kyousuke who's the calm one, and he sent me out to gather up a team, so..

[And if Kyousuke insists despite the circumstances, then maybe it's okay...? That's what Riki hopes for, anyway.]

Interesting. [ looks like this guy doesn't know anything either. ] I'll join your team.

Y-yeah, I guess... Well uhm... Thank you, then. Do you know the basic rules of it already?

Well, putting it in really basic terms... You have two teams, one of which is in the in and outfield, while the other bats. The batting team has its players take turns hitting the ball and then, if they're successful (if not, it would be strike), running the bases and trying to make it home so they get points. Meanwhile, the opposing team tries to get them out by catching the ball or tagging the bases with it. After the batters have three outs, the two teams swap positions.

...There's a lot more to it than that, but I guess that's basically it.

The basic idea is all that's necessary. A firsthand experience will fill in the gaps in most cases.
