WHAT: School Festival / Arriving in the Afterlife!
WHEN: 9/30/2012. Morning through evening.
WHERE: All around! Mostly at the school, since it is a school festival!
WARNINGS: Potential violence, but since everyone's already dead it's not like it matters, BUT FOR THE MOST PART HUNKY DORY PG! So PG+V? That works.

No matter where it is you woke up, if it's near buildings the sounds of merriment are all around. The shouts of people rooting for the winner of a game, students trying to pull in attention for their booths, adults laughing as they trip over themselves during a sport or someone screaming at the haunted house...

It's then that you realize you're at some kind of festival, everyone's invited, and no one seems to be bothering with money.

Then the realization that you're not even in your clothes. What the hell is this outfit? A school uniform? A janitor? A store clerk? Waitress?

No, no, the bigger question is deinitely "What the hell is going on and where am I?" With nothing but forest and mountains visible in the distance, it's kind of--

Is that right.

[his tone is noncommittal. he doesn't even bother making it sound like a question. After a pause he adds:]

Have you been here long?

[his curiosity got the best of him, and it seems the least invasive thing to ask]

[ And she doesn't know where she is. Leaving that part out for now... ]

What about you?

[ So, it's just like her and the boy she ran into earlier. She has always been reluctant asking "strange" questions, but hearing his answer, she feels she can ask the question without feeling awkward. ]

Mii. Do you know where this school is located?

[onewayroad]

[He lets out a sigh and starts rubbing at the back of his neck.]

No. Sorry, kid.

[miiracles]

...I see.

[ Rika doesn't let her disappointment show on her face around strangers, but she clenches her hands into fists. She turns her gaze back towards the bonfire, wondering how some of the people over there can enjoy themselves right now. ]

Did anyone else know anything?

[Just gauging things while keeping it vague and open to interpretation]

[ She shakes her head slowly. ]

The people I've asked are just as confused as we are.

[onewayroad]

All but one I ran into were. But I think she's just full of shit.

...mii? What did she say?

[he sighs]

Something depressing you don't need to know.

We're dead, aren't we? [ That much she did come to understand, after her little chat with Leon. ]

[frowns, eyeing her at that.]

I don't know about others, but I don't remember dying. As long as the possibility exists that I'm not dead, I'm going to hold onto that.

[he pauses]

There are people waiting for me when I get out of here.

[miiracles]

...Neither do I. When a death comes suddenly, sometimes it's difficult to recall the memories from that time. It's like when some ghosts wander the world, unaware that they're dead.

[ It's like she speaks from experience. And for a second, there's a bit of change in her demeanor.

Then she releases a small sigh. ]

But, I don't want to accept this fate either. I have something I need to do, as well as people waiting for me.

[Accelerator slouches forward and stares down at the ground. He doesn't really believe in ghosts and so on, but after the things he saw in Russia, he knows there's more to the world than just what science can explain.]
