WHEN: 9/30/2012. Morning through evening.
WHERE: All around! Mostly at the school, since it is a school festival!
WARNINGS: Potential violence, but since everyone's already dead it's not like it matters, BUT FOR THE MOST PART HUNKY DORY PG! So PG+V? That works.

No matter where it is you woke up, if it's near buildings the sounds of merriment are all around. The shouts of people rooting for the winner of a game, students trying to pull in attention for their booths, adults laughing as they trip over themselves during a sport or someone screaming at the haunted house...

It's then that you realize you're at some kind of festival, everyone's invited, and no one seems to be bothering with money.

Then the realization that you're not even in your clothes. What the hell is this outfit? A school uniform? A janitor? A store clerk? Waitress?

No, no, the bigger question is deinitely "What the hell is going on and where am I?" With nothing but forest and mountains visible in the distance, it's kind of--

The last thing I remember is telling Ooyama and Hinata that I was going to challenge the guy with the guns to a duel after he tried to enslave us and get us to bury your friend Angel alive! Or, not alive. Conscious. They need a better phrase for that.

What do you think the only way to take someone out here is? If they can't move, can't escape, then they're stuck and can't interfere with anyone else. Anyway, we ended up digging three separately holes, then a really wide one... then I stole the guy's gun and we escaped after I- I had to shoot him or he was going to hurt the others. Once we got away, it was too late at night to do anything so I went to sleep with plans to ask Angel to judge a duel against him in the morning, but I was awake here without even that first gun that I stole and Ooyama and Hinata aren't here either but if they called me manly one more time I was probably going to shoot one of them in the head anyway so I guess that's fine.

What the... do you hear how crazy that is? Burying her alive, geez... [..Then again, this isn't surprising at all, coming from Yuri. This whole story sounds a lot like things she would do. But... he doesn't remember any of this, so...]

Well... what about the others? You're mainly just mentioning Ooyama, Hinata, and Kanade. What about the rest of the SSS?

[ Yuri's starting to panic a little too. This guy knows her, which means she's missing memories. She could be missing important things. Really important. What she doesn't remember-- what if it's not all from after her death or after the last day she remembers?

Anyway, this guy.. he was friends with Angel, right? ]

If this is some kind of stupid joke God and Angel put you up to, you can cut it out already.

It's not a joke. [His voice may be sounding a little more stern now... but really, this is flat out weird and worrisome. As if the strange festival and influx of people who aren't NPCs wasn't concerning enough..]

I'm being serious about this. The SSS is something you made as a battlefront to rebel against God, and I guess as you know her, Angel too. Ooyama and Hinata are in it, but so are loads of other people like Naoi, Takamatsu, Yui, TK... You really don't remember any of that?

I was starting something with Ooyama and Hinata, but we didn't have a name and I've never met all of those people!

[ Otonashi might have to deal with Yuri freaking out a little bit. With not being able to find either of those two, it means she's basically alone with someone who's telling her that she doesn't have any memories of something really important when memories are the only things that she really qualifies as making her herself.

So there's some obvious signs of her not being okay with what's going on, especially since it wasn't too long ago that a certain moron promised he wouldn't leave her alone again.

Of course, Otonashi doesn't.. seem horrible. Even if he's friends with Angel. He seems to know Hinata, too. Which was confusing, because Angel wouldn't be friends with someone who's also friends with Hinata. ]

I've heard of losing your memories when you first get here, but not when you've been here for a long time already. This place changed overnight and suddenly there are people cropping up left and right who seem to know me even if they're apparently friends with the enemy.

[ And then her mood changes. At least she seems to have calmed herself down a little. Well, sort of. She's got that odd peppy tone and a smile now.. ]

So tell me what's going on in ten words or less or I'll kick you in the face!

[When Otonashi arrived here without his memories, he couldn't remember anything that happened in his life until Naoi came along and hypnotized him. Yuri, on the other hand, seems to have plenty of memories. Just... starting at some point in time that is way before Otonashi met her, and from the looks of things, prior to her creating the SSS as well. He'd wonder if that's even possible, but it's apparent that it is. It just makes no sense though.

And if she was in the middle of starting something with Ooyama and Hinata... does she mean the SSS?

Regardless of the case, he doesn't have much time to ponder about this, does he? Since she's suddenly threatening to kick him in the face and all (rude). It doesn't take him long to respond to her though, because it's not like he can even explain what's going on to her; he doesn't know himself, after all.]

Look, I can't tell you what's going on, because I have no clue either. When I saw you, I was hoping you'd be able to tell me, but clearly that isn't the case.

[ She considers him for another moment. Then, instead of kicking him, she flicks him hard in the forehead and starts walking with the expectation that he'll follow. ]

You seem to be friends with Angel, but you don't seem to be a bad guy and you seem to be on my side too. So I'm going to have you prove it.

[ They're heading for the three-legged race.. ]

...Whatever. Yeah, yeah, he'll follow to.. wherever she's going.]

If you're on my side we should have some kind of synchronicity right? Let's kick some ass! [ WE'RE GOING TO COMPETE IN SOMETHING DEAL WITH IT OTONASHI!! ]

Why not? The school festival is obviously different than the normal behavior of this world, there shouldn't be a problem taking part in it.
