WHAT: School Festival / Arriving in the Afterlife!
WHEN: 9/30/2012. Morning through evening.
WHERE: All around! Mostly at the school, since it is a school festival!
WARNINGS: Potential violence, but since everyone's already dead it's not like it matters, BUT FOR THE MOST PART HUNKY DORY PG! So PG+V? That works.

No matter where it is you woke up, if it's near buildings the sounds of merriment are all around. The shouts of people rooting for the winner of a game, students trying to pull in attention for their booths, adults laughing as they trip over themselves during a sport or someone screaming at the haunted house...

It's then that you realize you're at some kind of festival, everyone's invited, and no one seems to be bothering with money.

Then the realization that you're not even in your clothes. What the hell is this outfit? A school uniform? A janitor? A store clerk? Waitress?

No, no, the bigger question is deinitely "What the hell is going on and where am I?" With nothing but forest and mountains visible in the distance, it's kind of--

[ It's not really so much of a matter as to how he got here, but just what exactly the hell is he wearing? His face scrunches in disapprovement, pulling at his shirt ensemble and tugging at his pants. He aimlessly wanders about inside the haunted house, ducking under the fake-looking ghosts and mummy sheets hanging about.

Oh well. Can't beat 'em? Join 'em.

He'll take his stance just before the last door out, crouching behind a desk or two. Making your way to the exit? Well, let's just see if you can get past some kid with a douche-y pair of shades jumping out at you in a totally lazy attempt at being scary. ]

[Kudos to you, Dave, for being able to just roll with this...! Riki, on the other hand, is incredibly confused and surprised to find himself in a completely different place before. Especially since that place is apparently a haunted house. I mean I guess...!

Regardless though, he's... making his way toward the exit as soon as he finds it. He'd like to figure out what's going on right now, and just get out of here since wow this place is creepy um.]

[ Aw crap, someone's coming! Manning his station, now. When Riki comes close enough, Dave is 100% ready to jump-scare him. ]

[ ...Only too bad Dave's leg is caught on the desk's own leg, therefore leaving the blonde-haired boy tripping and swearing. It's actually a total mess when he falls to the ground, griping "ow..." to no one in particular.

Pls feel free to laugh at his embarrassment. ]

U-uwaa-- [Riki actually did get at least a little startled by Dave suddenly jumping out at him like that! Buuuut that quickly subsided thanks to the fact that the blonde boy suddenly tripped and fell over. Way to go.

Fortunately for Dave though, Riki's not really one to laugh at someone's embarrassment. Especially not outwardly. Which is why after staring blankly at the fallen boy for a few moments, he carefully steps toward and peers over him.]

...Uhm. Are you okay?

[ It hurts, only a little bit. Dave's going to try and get up (and succeed!), giving out a small cough to fill in the awkward question bubble. He'll brush himself off and push his hands back in his pockets and stare for only a brief moment before answering. ]

Compromise: you never saw that.

[Well, he definitely did see that, but... Riki will at least roll with it! He can imagine how embarrassed the boy may be about that anyway. Had it happened to him, he would have wanted for people to forget about it too.

So he nods.] Okay, fair enough. [a beat.] Are you a part of this haunted house? [That is what this is all supposed to be, right...]
