SPORTS FESTIVAL

WHO: Everyone!
WHAT: Just what it says on the tin -- sports festival!
WHEN: April 8th - 10th
WHERE: All around campus! Particularly in the gym, sports/soccer/archery fields, tennis courts, and pool. The school's map is over here for reference.
WARNINGS: Unless the games are getting competitive, there probably won't be much violence...! I mean, it's not like we're playing rugby...

Remember those sports festival sign ups last month? Well, the days for said festival have finally arrived! All around campus (obviously in the sports-related areas), various competitions for various sports are going to be held. Track dashes, marathons, baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis, archery, swimming, kendo... you name it! Each event will be held at different times, with breaks in between to allow for any spectators -- whether they're game characters or NPCs -- to go watch 'em all. It also allows for characters wanting to participate in more than one event to do so.

There are also numerous decorated food stands around the event areas with light snacks and beverages for players and watchers. If people want to make signs to support their favorite teams, they can even do that at certain tables with sturdy sheets of paper, paints, and markers!

Finally, at the end of each day, there will be a fireworks display, with the largest one being on the final day (the 10th). On that last day, winners and MVPs for the competitions will also be announced! And each of those winners will be receiving a prize! Players on each winning team will all receive extra meal tickets. As for the MVPs, they will get a gaming system! A Gameboy in particular. Pretty neat, huh?

On the note of winners, we will be having polls for MVPs (most valuable players)! That will come toward the end of the festival, though. For now, anyone having their characters participate in sports events as players should drop a comment/fill out the form over here! That's also where any questions regarding this event can go.

Also, as a side note, the events under each day are listed in chronological order (morning, afternoon, late afternoon).

[ DON'T JUST SUDDENLY TALK TO HIM, YURI. He jumps up into the air a little bit because of the surprise, but then he seems to calm himself down. .. A little bit, either way, considering talking about baseball only makes him tsun. ]

[ GRABBING HER SLEEVE, TUGGING ON IT A LITTLE, LOOKING EXTREMELY PANICKED. Yes all in caps since that describes his mental state right about now.. ]

Yurippe, don't do this! I'll look totally uncool!

[ That's fine, she'll just grab his hand and drag him along instead. ]

What's so uncool about baseball anyway?

[tsunball]

Isn't it natural?! You're running around on some field in the middle of groups of sweaty dudes! What part of that isn't terribly uncool?!

[ He's just.. dragged along, even.. can't resist the Yuri. ]

I've got an entire battlefront that at any given time has more sweaty boys than girls, are you calling me uncool?

[ Okay they're not usually sweaty, but sometimes they are. Usually because of something she says or makes them do. ]

Anyway, aren't all sports just a bunch of sweaty people playing together? Sports are considered the epitome of cool in most circles, stupid.

Then you go to the completely wrong circles! [ NOT ANSWERING THE FIRST QUESTION. That's embarassing, Yuri, you can't just ask people if they think you're uncool!! ]

Sportsmen aren't cool at all, what's cool are the stars! And with that I mean the music ones..! Idols, rockstars.. those are what's definitely the coolest!

Are you sure you're not just afraid that I'll beat you? Because I happen to be good at sports. Good enough to squash most men without putting effort in.

[ Well, maybe not at baseball but she's got a talent for a lot of different sports. ]

I can play bass [ Not exactly well, but she can. ] but I prefer sports.

[tsunball]

[ Actually, Leon isn't really scared of getting beaten, he knows he's the best.. the only real fear is getting his love of baseball out there. ]

Then why don't we just start a band instead of doing something like this?!

I told you, I like sports better.

.. [ wait, he's slowly starting to see the merit here.. ] So.. let's say if you had the choice between dating a sportsman or a musician, you'd go for the sportsman?

[ Leon. Leon. Yuri's just staring at him for a second, but it'll get her what she wants so whatever. ]

I'd prefer the sportsman, obviously.

[tsunball]

[ PRIORITIES, OKAY. HE HAS THEM. Why do you think he wants to be a rockstar, some girl told her they'd like those kind of guys.. ]

Maybe I can play a game then.. well, just one, maybe! [ Hehehe!! ]

[ There's something a little refreshing about how even though they already had that conversation about it being impossible, he was still trying to get Yuri-senpai to notice him. He was just that kind of idiot and it made Yuri give a brief, earnest smile before a grin took its place. ]

[tsunball]

[ He's going to try forever. And ever. And ever... it's his only activity left in afterlife.. ]

Hey, hey, if it's impressive enough, can I get a reward?! How about a kiss, huh? A date?

[tenminutes]

[ Putting aside the fact that she's not even saying no because she doesn't think it's necessary to because he should know by now.. ]

Where in the hell are you planning to take a girl on a date here anyway?

[ Yuri, when will you finally learn that if you don't tell Leon off immediately, his hope grows again.. ]

Don't girls usually like simple stuff? Like.. uh.. having a picnic on the grass! And then I'll get out my guitar and serenade them, doesn't that sound super cool?!

[ When it stops being funny. ]

I'd prefer something like going white water rafting down a mountain then jumping off of the raft holding hands as we fall off the waterfall, then catching fish with our bare hands then roasting them over a hand-made fire as the sun sets.

[ Attempting scare tactics since she knows that Leon's a chicken: Go. Though..

Honestly that does sound like fun to her. ]

That's what I like. Not all girls like the same thing, dumbass.

[ Hey, if just being honest about her preferences for how things should get done works she might actually start being more honest with him.. ]

[ He's trying to laugh, but it sounds pretty pathetic. Like he's trying so hard, but is actually too busy shitting his pants to really laugh. ]
