SUMMARY: INTERACTION LOG you know the drill. Event stuff in here too.

24th: HEY BATTER BATTER BATTER SWING BATTER KENNEDY KENNEDY. That's right it's time for the baseball club to start up try outs! Some posters have been put up around the school about it. Go be a Little Buster.

25th: FIRE FIRE. Except not. But the sprinkler system seems to think there is one! So in all of the buildings around campus and even in the town, the sprinklers up on the ceilings are going off. Have fun getting wet.

26th: As you go about your day today, wherever you may be, school, club meeting, dorm rooms, everything appears to be as normal as it can be. Suddenly, a group of NPCs close by scream and panic as one of them turns into a black shadowy mass... and it looks at you. Welp.

27th: There aren't many, but every now and then you may spot a shadow or two walking about campus, consuming students or disappearing into the shadows. Maybe you saw them yesterday maybe you didn't. But either way, watch your back... they like to creep out of your own shadows if you aren't careful.

28th: Try to go out that door--locked. Another? Locked. All buildings on campus and in town will randomly lock their doors so you just might end up trapped in a room! With a few shadows coming out of the shadows to join you of course.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: The Shadow Days event is starting up on the 26th and will go until May 10th! All details about it are over on this post so please read it if you haven't already. If you have any questions go ahead and ask over there too.

Also always, remember there are basketball, kendo and drama clubs now so practices can be set up whenever you want! And if you want to do something outside of what we've provided, feel free to do so.

[ As they turned a corner, he pulled her into an open door, shutting it behind them. It turned out to be a janitor's closet, though thankfully, the light was already on. He's holding his breath, trying to be as silent as possible. Hopefully she had enough sense to be quiet, as well. ]

[strawberrytart]

[ Luckily, she definitely did. She didn't know how much help a janitor's closet was going to be-- they were shadows, she was pretty sure they could go underneath doors but...

They had to find them first right? Ichigo tried to back up as much against the wall of the closet as possible so that she wasn't practically hugging Yukiteru, putting a hand up to cover her mouth since she was breathing heavily.]

[observesthings]

[ He was still holding his breath, though he'd need to take a breath eventually. Thankfully, there was adrenaline. He heard something outside the door. His life began flashing before his eyes, but... well, he died once. He can't die again, can he? Yuri said he can't...

... but then, it sounded like the monster was leaving. He let out a breath, but kept his voice at a whisper. ]

Do you think it's gone?

[strawberrytart]

[ She stays quiet for a moment or two even after he asks, but nothing seemed to react to his whispers so she lets her held breath go and falls to her knees, even within the confines of the closet. Her legs are shaking too much.. ]

I-I hope so..

[observesthings]

Let's wait a few minutes... just to be sure.

[ The door didn't have a keyhole, so he couldn't peek out. ] You're okay, right?

[strawberrytart]

[ There's some wibbling here. She's trying not to cry okay! Even though she's scared. ]

I-I'm not hurt. What about you?

[observesthings]

I've been through worse.

[ He'd kill for his Diary right about now. ] Do you think it's gone?

[strawberrytart]

I don't hear anything...

[ They don't make a lot of noise to begin with though. ]

Why is it doing this?

[observesthings]

I... I dunno... [ He tries getting down on the ground to look under the door, but he can't see a whole lot. It's pretty well-insulated. ] Another minute, maybe?

[strawberrytart]

We can just peek out right? What if we wait so long that it starts coming back?

[observesthings]

O-Okay... I will. Stay back, okay?

[strawberrytart]

Are you sure?

[ She's not going to stop him, but she doesn't want him to feel like he has to be the one to do it. ]

[observesthings]

I'm... I'm sure.

[ And slowly, he creaks the door open, peering out. He sees nothing... so far. But he continues staring out for just a few more seconds... ]

[strawberrytart]

[ Despite that he said he's sure, Ichigo is crawling up underneath him to peek her head just beneath his to see for herself. ]

It looks like the coast is clear.

[observesthings]

[ He doesn't even notice her crawling up underneath him; he's a bit too on edge, searching for the shadow. But as soon as she says the coast is clear, he agrees. ]

Okay... how much farther to the dorms?

[strawberrytart]

Um... I don't know where we are, I was just following you.

[ Basically, she was in too much of a panic to pay attention to which closet of which building they were in. ]

[observesthings]

... oh. [ Crap. Well. Okay. ] Well, um... let's... let's just carefully get out of here and find our way back to the dorms..

[strawberrytart]

We can look out the window first. [ Ichigo sneaks underneath him out the door, glancing left to right. IT looks like they're clear, so she's going to go into a nearby classroom to see which building they're in. ]

[observesthings]

Well... okay.

[ He followers her, allowing her to lead him this time. He's really jumpy; any creak in the floor makes him abruptly turn. ]

[strawberrytart]

[ Ichigo quickly goes into one of the classrooms, but stops to stare out one of the windows. There are quite a few shadows just on the grounds out there between here an the dorm rooms. ]

What do we do..?

[observesthings]

Ugh... I wish I had my Diary... [ But, he doesn't. And even with his powers slowly coming back, he doesn't even know how he'd make one. In hindsight... that should have been one of the first things he asked Muru Muru how to do. ]

We need to make a run for it, but... I don't know how.

[strawberrytart]

This isn't the time to be worrying about writing about your feelings--

[ Oh wait. ]

I won't. I won't be writing in it at all... it actually writes itself.

[ He won't go into much more detail than that, because if he ever makes one here... it will be inextricably tied to his life. Even if he can't die a second time. But still, as Yuri pointed out, there's worse things than dying here. ]

Like a magical diary? I think I read a book where that happened once, they had to stab it with a tooth because it was evil.

[ Ichigo offers him a smile, a little nervous. ]

I'm Ichigo Amano. Sorry we're meeting like this.

Well, if you stabbed mine, I'd die. [ Well... not here. Right? He didn't know, but it likely wouldn't be good. ] Amano? [ He would have laughed, under different circumstances. ]
