Love Letter Date Log

WHO: ERRYBODY
WHAT: Love Letter Event Dates
WHEN: May 24th
WHERE: Randomized locations. (See here.)
WARNINGS: I'm going to start with PG-13 max, if any threads go beyond that, let one of the mods know so we can up it!
SUMMARY: Love letters have been handed out by NPCs organizing strange dates between the dead students. You've shown up to yours, so who did you end up with? What are you going to do? What's going to happen if you don't do anything?

Can you feel the looooove toniiiight?
mightletyouknowme: (I'll think about rewarding you)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-05-30 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh? Do I even know you?

[Not that she's been paying much attention to many people since coming here but he doesn't look familiar. Few guys did, to be honest.]

Why would I send you a letter? You sent one to me.

mysterioustransferstudent: (Playing the game)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-05-31 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[What. But he doesn’t even know her. His smile falters a second before it returns, a little less plastic and significantly more amused than before.]

Is that so? Then I suspect that someone is playing a prank on us.
mightletyouknowme: (Huh)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-05-31 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
[She blinks. Somebody has wasted her time? Or...]

If you're much of a chicken to got through with the confession now, don't even waste time by sending the note. It's best if you're just like everyone else and admire me from the background.
mysterioustransferstudent: (Deploy the derpsmile)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-05-31 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps I should be more clear: I didn't send a note. I received note from someone claiming to be delivering it for "a friend" that told me to meet at this time and place. Judging from your confusion, I'm guessing that something similar happened to you.

[He starts to pace and play with his bangs as he thinks this through.]

Unless, you're the perpetrator of the prank. Or perhaps a co-conspirator? In either case, it's only natural that you would deny it and try to press me into admitting that I wrote the letter. If you're another victim then you would still deny involvement.

Of course, these lines of logic also apply to me from your perspective. What an interesting prank.

[He flashes her a thousand watt smile. Nothing like circular logic and a good mystery to put him in a good mood.]
mightletyouknowme: (I'll sulk over here)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-01 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
[That would have been a sure sign it wasn't Sena. She has no friends.]

There's nothing interesting about it. If I was going to confess, I wouldn't be too afraid to just tell somebody but I wouldn't confess to a boy I don't even know. Whoever tried to do a prank doesn't know me at all.
mysterioustransferstudent: (How fascinating!)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-02 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Doesn't that just make it more interesting? Why would they involve you if they don't even know you?

[He stops in front of Sena.]

For the moment, I'll take your word that you're not the prankster. So what do you think we should do about this?
mightletyouknowme: (Just die)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-05 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
If someone is going to waste my time, they should be punished. We'll just find out who sent the girl who gave me the note.

[And then...vaguely punish them.]
mysterioustransferstudent: (How fascinating!)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-06 03:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Good! I'm also curious to see who's behind this, though I'll leave any punishment to you.

[He sits down across from her, chin in hands.]

There's no guarantee that the messengers were sent by anyone. They could be the perpetrators themselves. What did the girl who came to you look like?
mightletyouknowme: (Thinking it over)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-07 10:56 am (UTC)(link)
She had brown eyes and long black hair.

[That narrows it down.]

She just gave it to me, told me it was a secret, and ran off.
mysterioustransferstudent: (Playing the game)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-09 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
That's exactly what my messenger told me, but she had short hair. That means there's more than one person behind this plot. [He lowers his voice to a conspiratorial whisper.] If they worked this hard to get us together, I'm sure they'll want to see the results. It's likely that at least one of them is hiding somewhere close.

[He rises and offers her a hand.]

We'd better be off on our date then, hadn't we Ms...?

[Ah crap, he got so excited about the mystery that he forgot to ask her name.]

mightletyouknowme: (Angered)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-10 06:35 am (UTC)(link)
[She looks down at his hand and then back to his eyes.] So what if they are? If they're going to trick us, we shouldn't just play for them. We should find them and show them that it isn't funny!

[But she looks around. Maybe they are watching. Maybe that would make them easier to catch.]
mysterioustransferstudent: (Playing the game)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-11 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
[Again with the whispering.]

If they see that their plan has failed, they might run away before we can find them. If we play along for a bit, they'll have to change hiding places to follow us. Besides, it wouldn't be so bad, would it? Just for a bit.

[He actually winks at her, like the giant dork he is.]

Itsuki Koizumi, by the way. Our conspirators forgot to mention names.
mightletyouknowme: (Just a little embarrased)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-12 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
[...He has a point. Looking away, she reaches out and puts her hand in his. The blush on her face means nothing. Nothing!]

T-then don't read too much into this. It's only so we can find who did it.

Kashiwazaki Sena.
mysterioustransferstudent: (A fine young gentleman)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-12 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course, Ms. Kashiwazaki. .

[Koizumi takes her hand and politely ignores the blush. It is kind of adorable, but like she says, it's only so they can find the culprit.]

Shall we have a picnic? We could take a blanket from the dorms and stop by the cafeteria to pick up desserts. I imagine the sunset would be gorgeous over the river.

mightletyouknowme: (I guess I could explain)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-14 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
[His ideas were pretty good but it just makes her think he's probably done this before. Maybe not the trick but the "date".]

Not a bad idea, for somebody who fell for this trick. We can push them in, if we find them.
mysterioustransferstudent: (Oh dear.)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-16 06:42 pm (UTC)(link)
[Koizumi chuckles. She's awfully straightforward, isn't she? She's actually wrong about the "date" thing, though. He'd had maybe a year-long window when he was old enough to date before the Suzumiya incident happened and romance became out of the question.]

If that's the sort of punishment you're planning, maybe I can help out after all. I must admit that I thought you had something more sinister in mind.
mightletyouknowme: (Surprised)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-16 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[There's no way he's not done this before. This is too much like the womanizing best friend character to galge protagonists.]

Huh? What did you think I was going to do? Even if bitches like this should die, I'm not going to really kill them.
mysterioustransferstudent: (Look at all the fucks I give!)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-17 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
[Awfully straightforward. It's kind of refreshing. Keeps him on his toes.]

I'm glad to hear that. I try not to go on dates with murderers, after all.

[ He's keeping an eye on the shrubbery as he walks.]

Though if you were the unsavory type, at least our conspirators would have a clear motive.
mightletyouknowme: (Caught me off guard)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-17 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
They already have a clear motive. [Not as straightforward in everything. That should really keep him guessing.] They're obviously jealous. I used to get these all the time at my old school.

...But I don't know why they would pick you. I don't even know you.

[She'll let him keep the lookout. He should be able to handle that.]
mysterioustransferstudent: (Oh really?)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-17 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Jealous?

[He's probably got the lookout thing covered, but it is distracting when she makes him curious. He glances at her, trying to read as much as he can before he turns his attention back to their surroundings.]

If you were the intended target, it's possible that I was chosen at random. I'm relatively new to this school and I can't think of anything I've done that would make me stand out.

[But that's not quite right, is it? He cringes a little.]

...Probably. I suppose that depends on how far Ms. Suzumiya's reputation has spread. There's always guilt by association.

Why do you say the motive is jealousy?
mightletyouknowme: (I have to explain now?)

[personal profile] mightletyouknowme 2013-06-19 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
It's only natural that it would happen here, too. Back at my old school, girls were always jealous but they never did stuff like this. They probably know I would have just thrown it away like the others.

[Which begged the question of why she had come out to meet him. Things were quieter, so maybe she had just jumped at the chance for change. Maybe it was because of how different it seemed.]
mysterioustransferstudent: (Gratuitous dramatic gaze)

[personal profile] mysterioustransferstudent 2013-06-23 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Thrown it away? Then how could you know that it was just jealous classmates? I wonder how many hopeful boys have waited for hours, only to be disappointed.

[He gives a wistful sigh and shakes his head.]

I appreciate that you showed up this time. I would've been terribly confused otherwise.
