WHAT: School Festival Day 3: The Underground Opens / Journey to Guild
WHEN: 9/30/3013. Any time.
WHERE: Surface, passages to Guild, Guild.

SUMMARY: After dealing with the shadows for a day, The SSS finally managed to get a team down into Guild to clear out any shadows that had made it down that far already. The Underground is being announced as temporary cover and any may head down there if they choose to.

It'd been quite a few hours since the shadows had first appeared, but it wasn't as though no one had been doing anything. Everyone had been fighting, hiding, running-- anything they could to keep others safe. It wasn't much but around 3:00AM on the 30th, a mass series of text messages was sent out to everyone.

Message 1: Guild cleared of shadows. Need fighters to protect. SSS invites all to take shelter. Entrance in gym (seats pulled, take ladder in pull-out) or underwater through river. Find SSS member to lead you. Traps still set. Be careful. SSS will send out regular teams to fetch bodies who failed to get in. Can't disarm to keep shadows out. Attached is list in order of booby traps for Gym entrance.

Message 2: Ceiling Hammers (Just don't get hit)
Rolling Boulder- whole tunnel. Run. Take corridor on right.
Lasers- Use smoke bombs near entrance to see & dodge. Panel code is 44917.
Collapsing Ceiling- Run. Panel code 62108.
Go down hall, keep to edge or floor will fall into pit of spikes.
Get into underwater area. Swim through underwater hall. Head toward side with stairs.
Ignore puppy it is just a toy.
Don't fall down waterfall.
Take stairs and follow until reach Guild.

Academy City weaponry and ammo are what he's used to, so using what he recalls of those to make judgments on anything from the outside world will not necessarily lead to accuracy. only now that he knows the clip only holds fifteen rounds can he match its weight with how many rounds should be remaining.]

That means I should have seven left. It sucks, but I've worked with worse before.

[ She kneels down to a bag she's got, pulling out two clips and handing them over. ]

Don't use them all unless you have to.

[reloads the half-used clip first, then takes the clips she hands over, shoving them in his pants pockets]

[Wordlessly, he's right behind her, gun in hand just out of habit.]

[ At the very least, there's plenty of lighting in this tunnel. She doesn't need to bring her sniper scope to make sure they've got light. Yuri is, however, trying to keep fairly quiet, slowing down around corners and peeking with her gun first before swinging around the corner. After all, it's best to be as careful as possible.

Once she's sure they're down a long tunnel that doesn't have turns for a bit, she raises her voice to a whisper. ]

Where'd you learn to use a gun?

How long do you need to be familiar with something in order to make it here?

[There may not necessarily be the free time, since he doesn't know how long making shit takes using that method Yuri once mentioned to him, but if they're down here for a while... the weapons could use an upgrade. fifteen rounds per handgun clip is tiny compared to what he's used to.]

You say "Thank you" for compliments.

[ She looks back at him. The Beretta 92 is just the weapon that she favors, that's why she had it on her. ] Well enough that you can assemble it. The parts should be easy enough to make, but if you can't put it together when you're done or you miss a part, it won't work or it might blow up in your face. I've had people try to make things they weren't familiar with before.

Not now, but sometime later, there's a weapon I want to try making. I'll keep that in mind.

[He's taken his gun apart and reassembled it a number of times, and he does have a commendable memory when he feels like using it. He's just not entirely certain to the 100% at the moment. And hey, if he does screw his face over trying, at least he'll have tried and the damage won't be permanent.]

[ Yuri will be glad to not have to make another handgun. After all, the one she's using is the most recent one she made. Yuri isn't exactly the speediest at getting it done, so it takes her more than one day to make a single gun. ]

...How long is this tunnel?

[They haven't been walking along it for too long, nor is he concerned. It's just a decent thing to know.]

Depends on how many side-turns you take. It'll probably take us about an hour and a half if we don't run into too much trouble. At least for the route we're taking.
