'Twas the night before Christmas...

WHO: All Secret Santa participants! And anyone else who wants to stop by
WHAT: Gift-giving and general Christmas festivities hurrah
WHEN: Evening of the 24th
WHERE: Boys' dorm lobby
WARNINGS: excessive holiday cheer
SUMMARY: The lobby of the boys' dorms has been decorated top-to-bottom with holiday decorations! Lights, a tree, you name it. Though at the beginning of the night, the tree actually has no ornaments! But there's a box full of them sitting beside it for any and all characters to help decorate it. Likewise, there's a growing pile of gift boxes beneath the tree with everyone's Secret Santa gifts. For any characters who did not participate in the event but do want to join in on the festivities, they may do so! And if they have any gifts, those may go under the tree along with everyone else's.

There's also a long table nearby with loads of various foods, ranging from cookies to cakes or even sandwiches and soups. Hot chocolate too, of course! Besides the usual couches and chairs in the lobby, there really aren't any additional chairs. But the floor is clean. Sitting on the floor isn't a big deal, you know...!

For reference, the Secret Santa list is here and there is a thread below for stating what gifts characters got one another. Feel free to join in with non-Secret Santa participants, but be sure to note in your comment that the gift is not of that variety. It is up to characters as to whether or not they want to reveal themselves as people's gift givers. If a character has decided not to give their assigned person a gift, make sure to either PM me at sleepybuster or poke me on plurk (peachdango), because Riki will be supplying those people with gifts himself!

[He won't be checking for long! Mary has been watching the presents pile up like a hawk, so between gawking at all the Christmas decorations and trying not to make herself sick with eating too much food she's checking out all the new boxes and gifts that show up.

With no note she doesn't actually know whether the poorly wrapped plush toy and the chocolates are for her, but man check out the colours on that box. And the toy in there looks pretty cute. And pink. Hmm...

While she still isn't sure if the present if for her or not, Mary quickly peers around to make sure there's no one watching her before she makes a little tear in the wrapping paper so she can get a better look at the presents inside. Oh, it's a cat! Talk about cute. The colourful, flowery box is still a mystery to her though. Is there something cute in there as well?]

[Though Greed hadn't noticed the problem here, thankfully Ling had and he piped up.

'Did you seriously not leave a name on there?'

Greed crossed his arms and shrugged.

'You idiot. How is she supposed to know it's hers now? Honestly...']

Gimme a break... I've never done this before.

[He couldn't deny that that was a good point, though. He grumbled a little, then walked over to the little girl currently looking at the present. So much for not giving away his identity. Damn it.]

Hey. Your name Mary?

[crayoned]

[At hearing her name, Mary quickly lifts her hands up to her chest and twirls around. She totally wasn't sneaking a peak at that present which may or may not be hers okay.]

Yes? I'm Mary. [Wait who is this guy. She doesn't remember ever meeting him or seeing him on the laptops before.] How do you know who I am?

[Oh, good, she was. That made this simpler.]

Lucky guess.

Anyway, that one's yours. [He motions to the present.] So don't worry, you can open it.

[crayoned]

[That's one heck of a lucky guess in that case. She's not going to question it though, not when it turns out the present she was already interested in is actually hers all along.]

I can?! Heehee, I'm so glad, this present looks like one of the best ones! The paper it was wrapped in wasn't as good as some of the other ones though...

[Anyway, yes, present. Mary turns back to the gift and soon rips the paper apart so she can see the plush toy properly now. She gives the toy a squeeze and looks it over, but her attention is soon on the box. First she inspects, then shakes it before finally opening it and- Hello! Chocolate!

Best Christmas ever... Overlooking the fact this is her first Christmas and all, but still, it's the best one!]

Eh, right... Yeah, finding paper and wrapping it nicely was a bit- bit tricky for the person who wrapped it.

[Yeah, good save. Let's not swear in front of the little girl please Greed.

Also playing up the whole secret thing is pretty difficult considering he has that whole rule about never lying. But referring to himself in the third person should be okay, right?]

Huh, so... you like it then?

I do, I do! I got a cute new toy and a whole box of chocolate all to myself. I'm gonna try... This one!

[Mary points at one of the chocolates in the box before quickly snatching it up and putting it in her mouth in a matter of seconds. As she eats, Mary hums thoughtfully before making a pleased sounding noise. It tastes good! But it's chocolate, of course it tastes good.

You can't just stop at one chocolate though, right? Of course you can't. So Mary quickly takes another chocolate and pops that into her mouth too.]

Whoever found these chocolates must be a... A chocolater? They must really like chocolate!
