SUMMARY: INTERACTION LOG you know the drill. Event stuff in here too.

24th: HEY BATTER BATTER BATTER SWING BATTER KENNEDY KENNEDY. That's right it's time for the baseball club to start up try outs! Some posters have been put up around the school about it. Go be a Little Buster.

25th: FIRE FIRE. Except not. But the sprinkler system seems to think there is one! So in all of the buildings around campus and even in the town, the sprinklers up on the ceilings are going off. Have fun getting wet.

26th: As you go about your day today, wherever you may be, school, club meeting, dorm rooms, everything appears to be as normal as it can be. Suddenly, a group of NPCs close by scream and panic as one of them turns into a black shadowy mass... and it looks at you. Welp.

27th: There aren't many, but every now and then you may spot a shadow or two walking about campus, consuming students or disappearing into the shadows. Maybe you saw them yesterday maybe you didn't. But either way, watch your back... they like to creep out of your own shadows if you aren't careful.

28th: Try to go out that door--locked. Another? Locked. All buildings on campus and in town will randomly lock their doors so you just might end up trapped in a room! With a few shadows coming out of the shadows to join you of course.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: The Shadow Days event is starting up on the 26th and will go until May 10th! All details about it are over on this post so please read it if you haven't already. If you have any questions go ahead and ask over there too.

Also always, remember there are basketball, kendo and drama clubs now so practices can be set up whenever you want! And if you want to do something outside of what we've provided, feel free to do so.

[ Funny thing about him; he's so used to the feeling of someone following him, staring at him, or otherwise stalking him that he barely notices it when it happens anymore. What one might see as a shadowy mass, to him, seems all to ordinary to him. Maybe he's just oblivious or in a daydream, but as he feels one staring at him as he's particularly lucid...

... it dawns on him that the person who used to do this to him all the time, to the point it's not only normal to him, he outright expects it, isn't here anymore. ]

Umm...?

[ He asks, looking in the direction of the shadowy mass. It slinks away as quickly as it appeared. Yukki continues staring what it was, blinking occasionally. ]

[ If he doesn't stop staring like a dope, Ichigo is going to panickedly run right into him. ]

[ He's Yukki, of course he won't notice. ]

... Ow.

[ He's totally bowled over. Sitting up after being knocked to the ground, he rubs his head, looking up. He half expects to see Yuno, since nine times out of ten, it's usually her that pounces on him when he least expects it, Diary or no Diary. ]

What was that for!?

[ She falls right on her butt as well, immediately scrambling to her knees, both hands on the ground and she bows. ]

I'm really sorry! It was an accident, but we have to hurry!

[ She's getting up already because there's a shadow chasing her! ]

Why?

[ Wait what's... oh. That... that doesn't look good. Or friendly. Was that what he saw just now? ] G-Good idea, let's go.

[ He starts backing up, looking for the nearest escape route. All he's seeing is the stairs, but... it's never that easy, not in his own personal experience. ]

[ Ichigo's not very fast, so she's certainly pushing her limits right now. At the very least she doesn't seem to be too out of breath beyond the general fear hyperventilation. That mostly comes from practice at her slow running...

Ichigo's going straight for the stairs though-- she's less of a 'consider the danger' person and more of an 'ohgodwhatever'sclosest' person. ]

This way!

[ What was that thing!? He's suddenly having flashbacks to when he had to outrun Murumuru. ]

O-Okay!

[ Yukiteru was all too used to running at this point. He was following her down the stairs, and even vaulted over the railing once he was able. ]

[ Ichigo's trying to close doors as they pass them, hoping that it'll stop the shadows for at least a few seconds.

..Probably not, considering they're shadows so they can just go under things, but it's worth a try!! Ichigo watches him vault over the rail and looks kind of amazed. You know, in the scared for her life sort of way. There's no way she could do that and she felt like she was probably going to be left behind. ]

W-Wait for me!

[ Nope, sorry, he's still terrified. Yukiteru wasn't half as acrobatic (nor as strong, for that matter) as Yuno, but he had learned enough tricks in the Survival Game to make good use of an adrenaline rush.

There's a door at the end of the corridor leading outside. Hopefully that would be safe... ]

[ Part of her didn't blame him for leaving her behind, even if it was scary. Perhaps because it was scary, but it still left Ichigo with the feeling of being terrified and alone and that wasn't something she was used to. She hated it. Ichigo let out a loud scream and tried to run faster, but she had never been particularly fast at running even if she'd gotten better.

She'd always been something of a klutz too, but that seemed to work to her advantage in this case. She tripped on the last step and ended up rolling out of the door much more quickly than she could've run. Her head had always been hard, so it was fine, but her arm was viciously scraped up from the fall as she tried to get up again and catch up to Yukki, incredibly out of breath. ]

W-Wait.. for me...

[ Clearly, this girl doesn't have as much experience in the field of RUNNING FOR YOUR LIFE as he does. He hears her panting, and stops, reaching out for her hand. No Yuno here, she'll get this hand back for this. ]

C-Come on... I don't want you to die out here. [ Even if he literally has to drag her. The Shadow is catching up... ]

[ No she eats like 20 slices of cake and bakes all day, not runs for her life.

Ichigo quickly grabs his hand and holds onto it, looking like she wants to start crying but she's going to suck it up and try to keep up with him as well as she can. ]

I-I don't want to either! I'm coming! [ Even if she probably will end up getting dragged.. ]

[ And off they go again. He's a bit faster than her, but he slows down just enough for her to keep up, gripping her hand as best he could. This was so... disturbingly familiar. Holding a girl's hand as he runs for his life, only the girl isn't also wielding a sharp and/or pointy object and mowing down anything in their way, and he isn't also holding his Diary in his other hand telling her where to go. ]

Almost... there...!

Almost where!?

[ Ichigo honestly had no idea where they were going or if he had a place that was safe from these things. She had just been aimlessly running and hoping she'd lost them. ]

... there!

[ As they turned a corner, he pulled her into an open door, shutting it behind them. It turned out to be a janitor's closet, though thankfully, the light was already on. He's holding his breath, trying to be as silent as possible. Hopefully she had enough sense to be quiet, as well. ]

[ Luckily, she definitely did. She didn't know how much help a janitor's closet was going to be-- they were shadows, she was pretty sure they could go underneath doors but...

They had to find them first right? Ichigo tried to back up as much against the wall of the closet as possible so that she wasn't practically hugging Yukiteru, putting a hand up to cover her mouth since she was breathing heavily.]

[ He was still holding his breath, though he'd need to take a breath eventually. Thankfully, there was adrenaline. He heard something outside the door. His life began flashing before his eyes, but... well, he died once. He can't die again, can he? Yuri said he can't...

... but then, it sounded like the monster was leaving. He let out a breath, but kept his voice at a whisper. ]

Do you think it's gone?

[ She stays quiet for a moment or two even after he asks, but nothing seemed to react to his whispers so she lets her held breath go and falls to her knees, even within the confines of the closet. Her legs are shaking too much.. ]

I-I hope so..

Let's wait a few minutes... just to be sure.

[ The door didn't have a keyhole, so he couldn't peek out. ] You're okay, right?

[ There's some wibbling here. She's trying not to cry okay! Even though she's scared. ]

I-I'm not hurt. What about you?

I've been through worse.

[ He'd kill for his Diary right about now. ] Do you think it's gone?

I don't hear anything...

[ They don't make a lot of noise to begin with though. ]

Why is it doing this?

I... I dunno... [ He tries getting down on the ground to look under the door, but he can't see a whole lot. It's pretty well-insulated. ] Another minute, maybe?

We can just peek out right? What if we wait so long that it starts coming back?

O-Okay... I will. Stay back, okay?
