It was Halloween, otherwise known as Hallow's Eve. And the stage was set for an amazing party, otherwise known as the extravaganza of the year. Haruhi had it all planned out: there were booths decorated in orange and black, balloons that looked like pumpkins, ghosts, and witches, games and prizes galore, live music, and so much more.

Sure, people may have 'died', but you know what they say: the show must go on! And go on, it shall. In front of the doors to the auditorium is an orange carpet and a rope blocking the entrance.

So, come on, relax, and have some fun!

That was an example..! [No, too late, Hinata. His pervert "act" was way too convincing not to have a few fragments of truth to it.]

And why are you asking me that!? Are you S..? [It wasn't clear which was more concerning... the fact that they were both familiar with these terms, the fact that they were arguing about this in public, or the fact that they should both know the answer to that question.]

D-do you want me to hold your veil or not?!

I just strongly believe in pervert punishment!

[ Yes, yes she is. ] Speaking of, you didn't say no! You are M!

[ She's like practically poking him in the chest at this point when he asks about the veil. Oh yeah, the thing they were doing. Hmph!! She hands it over to him, then turns back to the barrel. ]

[He tenses a bit as she pokes him in the chest, half expecting her to punch him just to prove her point. It's not like he ever complained that much...]

[But finally steering back towards the subject at hand, Hinata took the veil, sighing heavily and trying to ignore the heads curiously turned toward them. You'd think the NPCs would get used to Yuri and Hinata causing loud scenes by now, too bad they didn't remember anything.]

[For the time being, he stayed quiet, watching Yuri's back as she made for the apple-bobbing barrel.]

[ It's entirely possible that no one could ever get used to Hinata and Yuri being loud, even if they could remember.

Though it's probably weirder to see them both silent like right now, as Yuri reaches up to hold her hair back as though she was going to tie it into a ponytail. She doesn't, of course, she just holds it back and puts one hand on the edge of the barrel as she leans in, trying to get an apple with her mouth. ]

[He just kind of... glances over her shoulder as she tries to snag an apple with her teeth. It's actually pretty funny the faces people make with their mouths wide open trying to get one...]

...Is your mouth even big enough?

[Hinata asks the hard hitting questions.]

[ It takes her a couple of tries, but true to her nature, she manages to catch on pretty quickly and gets one by the edge, then lifts it up out of the water, taking it out of her mouth with her hand once she's up. ]

The only rebuttal I have right now leaves me open to jokes about having a big mouth so shut up.

[In his defense, it's not like he ever thought that hard about the size of her mouth, but girls were small, right? He figured it was a valid question.]

That's right, you are pretty loud... [It begged to question: Did he actually think before he spoke, or was there a permanent disconnect between his brain and his mouth?]

[ There's a big chance the connection between his brain and mouth was passed off to Yuri's foot and his kneecap just now. ]

[If people had stopped staring at them during their temporary silence, all those eyes would look back when she kicked him and he screamed.]

[Rather than ask why, hindsight told him that much, he just blurted out the next thing that came to mind.] You didn't have to kick me! What happened to slapping!?

[That discussion about M and S they were having earlier was suddenly starting to make more sense...]

Jeez... here. [He handed back her veil so he could lean over and lift his pant leg, examining his shin. She might not look like much in stature, but she could hit awfully hard.]

What, you want to be slapped!? I can slap you too!

[ YEAH SHE'S GOING TO SMACK HIS FOREHEAD WITH HER PALM WHEN SHE TAKES HER VEIL BACK. Hmph. ]

I didn't mean now!!

[Of course, that just made it sound like he was planning on having her hit him later... Out of context, this could all sound very obscene.]

I can smack you again later if you want! I'll save five for you later!

[ This is escalating too much...!! ]

What!?

[It was about then that he realized that people were muttering about them, tearing his eyes away from her to find several pairs of eyes observing their altercation.]

...Come with me. [Without really waiting for permission--she was planning on hitting him later anyway, apparently--he grabbed her hand and pulled her off elsewhere. There wasn't much in the way of quiet areas at a party of this size, but he managed to find a corner that wasn't quite as populated.]

Look, I'm sorry I said you were loud, we can stop this now right?

Hinata-- hey!

[ Getting pulled off by him wasn't something that happened often, especially not without permission. ]

Stop what? You're the idiot who keeps asking me to hit you.
