saving you because lbr you stink at noticing things
WHO: Sougo and Celica
WHAT: Eviction event
WHEN: April 5th, just as the dorms are being engulfed
WHERE: The dorms
WARNINGS: Possible violence, otherwise I dunno.
SUMMARY: Sougo tries to escape from the shadow trying to engulf the dorms, but then realizes a certain other person might not realize what's going on.
[What in the world is going on outside. Not that Sougo really cared for anything that was happening around the school, but that NPC post sure as hell did make him think about the outcomes. Man, and just as he was getting his strive for this place as well...
But he knows that shadow enveloping the dorms is bad news in the first place. So, what is his first course of action? Jumping out of his own dorm room window of course. He doesn't want to be around for when this place goes to hell, and nor does he want to see people running out of the doors, getting cramped up against one another. With a small sigh, he readies himself for impact as he dives out of it, glass flying everywhere, himself suspended before he finally hits the ground, rolling on it and making sure everything on him is completely fine. Nothing broken...he's done this thousands of times so it shouldn't be any different. With a small sigh, he gets to his feet, dusting himself off of any glass that might have caught on him.]
What a pain. Here I thought I was going to have a nice day to myself. Looks like God has something against all of us. [He muses, tilting his head as he heads away from the school as a thought strikes him. A thought that shouldn't come to him in the first place. He's probably going to regret doing his in the first place, but...
With a shrug, he begins to head over to the girl's dorm, and sure enough, the same thing seems to be happening. This really isn't going to go well for him is it. Whatever the case is, he just strolls on into the dorm itself, before he lets out a loud call.]
OIIIIIII, AKA-CHAAAAAAAAN! I'M GOING TO HOLD YOUR VIRGINITY HOSTAGE IF YOU DON'T COME OUT IMMEDIATELY! OOOOOOOOI!!

Shut up! As if I'd take joy in someone like you. Besides, I'm sadistic, isn't that a turn off? How can someone like that be kind. I thought you were a lot smarter then that, Aka-chan.
[A small "tch" as he begins to progress further into the woods.]
I should have left you in there to die. Or whatever fate had in store for you. [Too bad it would have left a bad taste in his mouth.]
no subject
Ah... That hurts just a little bit, you know. But that's not true. I know several people who come off as rather harsh, but they're good people after all. And you did come back to get me apparently, so... that makes you a good person too.
[And of course, there she goes, just continuing to follow him as per usual.]
--Oh, and I haven't thanked you for that either, so... Thank you.
no subject
Shutupshutupshutupshutup! How the hell would you know that makes me a good person, who made you the appointee of good people...!? Tch, it...it...!
[And the thank, as well. That practically shut him up, as there's just muffled screams coming out of him at this point.]
no subject
Oooh, I'm sorry! I forgot you don't really like me saying those things, do you? But it is true, you know! I'm sure I would have been toast had you not gotten me, ahah...
[So she reaaally does appreciate it a lot, along with his words.]
no subject
Tch, how the hell can you be so nice to me in the first place...I don't understand it. How can you say these things without fearing the consequences? For all you know, I could have gutted you for your words...!
[At this point, though, he's going to grab her hand to stop it from petting his head.]
Why the hell are you giving me these compliments...why...!?
no subject
[She's usually not one to keep thoughts to herself -- especially if they're positive ones about other people. If someone's doing something kind or good, they should know it! It's as simple as that.]
no subject
Go on. Just leave me to die here, then. If I were to here the truth come out of your mouth, that'd be emotional torture. Please, let me die.
no subject
I'm not going to leave you here. Now, come on. Let's go find somewhere more safe before we start laying around, okay?
[She will literally start dragging him if she has to okay--]
no subject
No, it's fine. It's fine if we stay here, it's better for us to be dead. I'd rather die once more than to hear you babble on about how I'm nice. Yes, that seems nice.
[Look at his feet making drag marks in the ground, wowie.]
How can you say it? I don't get it. How did I give off such an impression to you? I should've made you succumb to me when I had the chance.
no subject
We wouldn't just die, you know. We'd become NPCs, and that's... [...not something she wants. At all. Or wants any of her friends to experience either, considering how she herself became one a while back when trying to save Yosuke.]
I-I'm... not going to let that happen, okay! And of course I'd say something like that after you said such kind things to me and even rescued me.
no subject
How did you become this way, anyways. How did you become the way you are, Aka-chan? There has to be some reason for it.
[he's actually curious about this himself, okay.]
no subject
[Sougo please-- But then she pauses, a little confused by his question.]
What do you mean?
[She's... the way she is because that's the way she is?!]
no subject
I'm asking why are you the way you are. How did you grow up like that? There has to be a reason. Who shaped you into the person you are? Or what did?
[He'd share his reason later, but he's still curious.]
no subject
Hm... I don't know? That's just the way I am, I guess. My sister is very different than me, for starters. And my mother died from an illness when I was young. As for my father, he was always busy in his lab, and was even declared missing a while ago, ahah... So I don't think any of them could have influenced me in particular. But maybe that's why my family and friends are so important to me.
[Does that answer his question?]
no subject
So you didn't have that much of a family, either... [he sighs, actually stopping her from dragging him any further so he can get up on his own two feet.] That's surprising, I thought you would have had one. What happened to your own sister, though? Were you with her the whole time when you grew up...?
[A tilt of his head now.]
no subject
I wouldn't say that, really. I still have them! Just... they weren't really around, eheh... But yes, I've always been with my sister. We even went to school together. Though I left in the middle of it to search for my father, so I haven't seen her since.
[A beat.] ...Or well, as far as I remember, anyway. My memories are still a little hazy from coming here.
no subject
Tell me about your sister then, and how she was different then you. I'm honestly not convinced that some of her traits didn't rub off on you somehow.
[Sougo, none of Mitsuba's traits rubbed off on you at all!!] But if your memory is a bit hazy, then I don't know if I can fully judge you based on memory lapses.
no subject
[The last thing she remembers is Ragna getting kicked in the face by someone-- ahem.]
But, um... Like I said, she can use all kinds of magic that I can't. Strong, kind, and cool... That's her! And she's waaaay more stylish than I am. She doesn't like our father much at all though, and sometimes she worries just a liiiittle bit too much over me and our friend Trinity.
no subject
[But he clears his throat for a moment, before adding;]
So she really is a more enhanced version of you. Looks like you're slacking, Aka-chan. [No he means this affectionately, really.] ...but still, you were lucky if you had someone like that by your side. I'm sorry that she isn't with you now.
no subject
--Oh, no, it's fine. I mean, I do miss her a lot, but considering where we are, well... her being here wouldn't be so great after all. I'd just be happy enough knowing that she's safe and alive. But I'm sure she is.
[Nine would not let someone kill her off that easily, wowie.]
no subject
Either way, I'm enlightened to you a bit more now. It makes it harder to screw with you now, but I'm sure I'd find some way of doing it.
[Like sticking a bunch of hot sauce packets in her food, for one.]
no subject
But Celica laughs at that.]
Ahah... Well, I should probably be asking you the same thing now, so... What about you? Is there any person or reason behind the way you are? You mentioned having an older sister before too, didn't you?
no subject
Sougo is quiet for a moment, placing a hand on his chin as he thinks this over.]
I do have an older sister. Didn't I tell you this before? When I was young, I lost both my mother and my father, so I only had my sister to rely on. She was the one who raised me, though she didn't do a very good job at it. [He sighs, rubbing the back of his head.]
Though if I had to say, she's like you. A kind heart, kind smile...I wonder where I went wrong. [A small laugh.] She's gone now, though. I wonder if she's having a better time in the afterlife then I am.
no subject
You told me you had an older sister, but I don't think you told me about the rest of that. [A pause.] I'm... I'm really sorry, though. I'm sure that wherever your sister is, she's thinking about you... and I'm sure she definitely wouldn't think you went wrong anywhere, either. I'd say you turned out just fine.
[Because of his comment though, she's pretty curious as to what kind of person his sister is. She definitely sounds nice, at least.]
no subject
I can only imagine what she must be thinking right now, if she's living a peaceful life that is. Heh, now that I'm thinking about it, you would say the type of words she would say to me if I were doubting myself. That's the type of person she is.
[Miiiinus the whole spicy addiction thing at least. And the haircut. Otherwise Celica could pass off as Mitsuba...]
