SUMMARY: Winter fun all around

12th: Look Dave, IT'S SNOWINGGGGGGGGG!!! Students and other NPCs are beginning to hang Christmas lights all around the town and school too. Everything looks pretty at night, even the gardens in the town and school.

13th: Today in home economics class: its time to start baking some homemade cookies and making peppermint hot chocolate.

14th: Kendo club starts today in the dojo!! Some posters have been hung up around the school for a while. Anyone want to go in and try it out or maybe even join??

15th: Hey--look up! Yeah, it's exactly what you see. Mistletoe has been put up under almost every doorway! What now.

16th: A lot of the NPCs are heading up to the mountains today. Why? For skiing and snowboarding of course! Skis, snowboards and even sleds are in the gym's equipment room.  Who's up for some winter fun?



*As a little note, from the 12th until the end of the month it will be snowing! Nothing heavy but there will be a few inches of snow sticking to the ground.

Same things apply as last time! If you'd like to do something outside of the activities we've provided feel free to do so! Remember that there is a basketball team now so practices can be set up on whatever days you all choose.

Then I'll help. Does this mean you're a Crewleader?

I'm the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen. [ Which translates to Afterlife Battlefront, but that doesn't match SSS so asdgjhjadtranslations.. ]

[So she named it something instead of just calling it Yuri's Crew. Okay. Yay translations.]

So you are the Crewleader. Are your plans usually crazy?

[tenminutes]

Well if I thought they were crazy, I wouldn't do them. I guess it just depends on how crazy you think I am.

[She's more cautious then Kelsier then...Vin smiles slightly.]

My old Crewleader wasn't like that. He knew his plans were crazy, but we did them. We ended up succeeding.

[And she killed the Lord Ruler, their old 'God'.]

Well, I hope I don't disappoint then. Even if it's going to be a lot tougher here since we don't even know how to get to God, especially now that Angel's gone.

We didn't know how to kill the Lord Ruler and we did that. I don't think this'll be that different.

[It'll make things interesting anyway.]

You had proof he existed, though, right?

Though I've seen an Angel before, so I think that's evidence.

Yeah. When there were executions, he would show up. He'd lived for a thousand years though; people had tried cutting off his head and it still didn't kill him.

How'd you end up doing it?

Tore out what was keeping him young and alive with a huge Pull and stuck a spear through him. He didn't heal.

Sounds like you've already got an upperhand on most of the current members in terms of battle skill, anyway.

What were they when they were alive?

[She was a thief and an assassin who became the Empress when she killed her husband's father.]

Not my place to tell. I know some of their stories, but considering that we've all been through different sorts of things, I'm not going to go spilling everything.

[ She pauses though, then adds. ]

So you went to a school for most of your life? That sounds...strange.

[tenminutes]

I graduated high school a little bit before I ended up dead. I even went to cram school and everything but it didn't matter much in the end. Obviously why I'm here has nothing to do with that.

There are different kinds of schools? Why?

[tenminutes]

It's just different levels. Grade school, high school, cram school, university. Cram school's optional, of course, but it's extra school to help you study for exams. The higher you place on exams, the better university you can get into and you'll get a better job once you graduate.

Huh. I don't think we had anything like that. Skaa had jobs as young as they could to get food tokens to eat. Nobility were...nobility.

[tenminutes]

We've just got Emperor Akihito and politicians or celebrities if you want to count anyone as "nobility," really. I'm guessing the nobility are actually bad where you're from though?

They were...different. They held balls while the Skaa starved, and if a Skaa was too loud they just killed them. If a nobleman went to a Skaa brothel, they killed the woman. So there wouldn't be any mix breeds. Didn't work all the time; sometimes the woman got out alive.

[That's why she's alive after all; the soldier sent to kill her mother didn't kill her.]
