Day 1: School Festival

WHAT: School Festival Day 1
WHEN: 9/28/3013. Morning through evening.
WHERE: All around! Mostly at the school, since it is a school festival!
WARNINGS: Should be PG-13 for language and possibly violence because there's always someone. But should mostly be fun & fluffy. Let me know if anything changes.

POP POP!

The crisp crackle of confetti cannons going off signals the start of the school festival around 10am! The whole school has been preparing for the month beforehand and an excited vibe seems to be fluttering through the whole afterlife! There are games, cafes, performances-- all sorts of things! There's definitely got to be something that'll tickle your fancy. There are no classes today, the dining hall is closed, and it looks like there's just a huge, fantastic festival going on.

For being dead, it sure seems lively!

SSS Dunk Tank

Pick a member of the SSS of your choosing and make them sit in a dunk tank. Players can throw balls at the target to release the seat the SSS member is sitting on and plunge them into the ice water!

Yes, it's freezing cold ice water, you can probably see the ice cubes. It seems like most of the people getting dunked didn't know about that beforehand though.

[ Haruhi doesn't really care who ends up on the dunk tank. She just wants to get things out out of her head. And besides, she needs to cool down a bit after working so hard on the concert and the movie. ]

I'll make sure all of you get a chance to sit in nice cold water!

.. NO WAAY, IT'S HEEER! [ Guess who got roped into this by Yuri. Guess who's about to cry at the very sight of Haruhi.. he's already traumatized by balls enough, and now she's going to throw one in his general direction, even if it's just to drop him in the water?! ]

Suzumiya, doooon't!! Cut this ouuuut!! Let me out of here, Yuriipeeeeee..!!

[Yes, it was his turn to sit in the tank. Clad in only a pair of red swim trunks, he would be shouting through the bars at people to try and dunk him, because what would a dunk tank be without some lighthearted goading?]

Hey, you! Try to hit that target, I bet you can't~! [He'd garnish this by flexing his arms and just... overall making a spectacle of himself.]

[ She'll speak in her usual monotone voice. Though she thinks it's strange that he's just wearing red swim trunks. (At least they weren't speedos?) ]

[He puffs out his chest, trying to give the illusion of extra manliness.]

It shouldn't be too difficult.

[ She's used weaponry (as in small bombs!) before, so throwing balls shouldn't be too hard, right? So she'll aim and throw one. Though her first throw hits the target, apparently it doesn't hit it hard enough. ]

[You'll eventually learn that Yuri gets what Yuri wants, Kyon. At least when Hinata is on the receiving end. This time, however, he didn't actually mind helping out. Hell, he was even helping her test it in secret to make sure it was ready for the festival.]

[Levi was asked about this about ten minutes ago. Considering he had just joined the SSS, however embarrassing it was he knew it took guts to be part of any organization and while it wasn't exactly hazing... well, the military was a little worse.]

[So sitting up on the little seat in just his trousers, flaunting his hard chest and arm muscles, he's glowering directly at you as you prepare to try and dunk the lance corporal.]

Hmm, would it be cheating if I gave it a try~?

[ Levi would one day learn that it wasn't hazing. It was just how Yuri was. He could've been in the SSS for 50 years and she still would've had him. ]

[ Oh boy. Ohhhh boy. Ymir's actually noticed this shorty before, from her brief time in the Scouting Legion, as well as she's herd some rumours here and there. This could get interesting. ]

Question. Am I still bound by military laws after my death?

[ She's definitely picking up a ball and throwing it up and down with a hand. ]

[ Yuri's doing her damned well best to go out and advertise this. That said, she's not in the SSS uniform today. She's not going to ruin it with chlorinated ice water, alright? Thigh high socks and chlorine equals weird spotty socks. Won't work. She's wearing a bikini underneath a slightly oversized white t-shirt and a skirt so that she can take it off any time someone calls on her for the dunk tank.

But, beware. As she smiles brilliantly at people who pass. ]

Just remember that if you pick me for the dunk tank, I'll never let you live it down.

[ No matter who you are, if you're going to have a shot - or just look at the dunk tank, really - and Leon is up there, then he's going to sit there looking like he's about to shake and cry. You don't understand, the whole dunking thing isn't that bad, but he has a balls trauma.. especially if they're thrown in his general direction.. IT'S WORSE THAN THE ICE WATER, OKAY. ]

[Mary isn't particularly bothered about who she gets to dunk, just so long as she gets a chance to play the game like everyone else. She has a few baseballs cradled in one arm as she gets ready to start throwing.]
