SUMMARY: Winter fun all around

12th: Look Dave, IT'S SNOWINGGGGGGGGG!!! Students and other NPCs are beginning to hang Christmas lights all around the town and school too. Everything looks pretty at night, even the gardens in the town and school.

13th: Today in home economics class: its time to start baking some homemade cookies and making peppermint hot chocolate.

14th: Kendo club starts today in the dojo!! Some posters have been hung up around the school for a while. Anyone want to go in and try it out or maybe even join??

15th: Hey--look up! Yeah, it's exactly what you see. Mistletoe has been put up under almost every doorway! What now.

16th: A lot of the NPCs are heading up to the mountains today. Why? For skiing and snowboarding of course! Skis, snowboards and even sleds are in the gym's equipment room.  Who's up for some winter fun?



*As a little note, from the 12th until the end of the month it will be snowing! Nothing heavy but there will be a few inches of snow sticking to the ground.

Same things apply as last time! If you'd like to do something outside of the activities we've provided feel free to do so! Remember that there is a basketball team now so practices can be set up on whatever days you all choose.

[Oh wow. Those cookies do smell really good! Even the hot chocolate, too... Riki can't help but just kinda stare in Souji's direction, and at the baked goods... he may also be kinda watching how Souji makes them too, though. He's really good at this, huh...!]

At first he continues on his baking, looking more like he's relying on his memory than the book closed near him. Though he glances to catch Riki's gaze and soon beckons him over.]

[Naoto still isn't sure why she agreed to come out here with Souji. In her whole life she's never gone skiing or snowboarding so to her the sport is foreign to her and the skill is nonexistent. Unfortunately this is what happens when you refuse to do nothing but dedicate every minute to your work for almost 11 years.

So before he can go off to do his thing and before she puts those things on (because we all know it wouldn't end well the moment she took a step), she walks up to Souji with an embarrassed look on her face]

[ The teen was still in the process of getting his things together, he was already wearing comfortable attire and just finished putting the goggles and hat over his head. Now he was bending down to gather the skis until he hears the sound of her voice.

Just because they were in the after life- that didn't mean they couldn't have fun. So it was why he had invited her with him.

He stands, propping skis against his shoulder to hold the weight and showing a smile to her.]

[ Chihiro finds himself stunned at the sight of all those lights in the evening, as he was making his way back to the dorms, wrapped in his coat, scarf, and woolen hat. ]

... How did they appear here? [ He mutters to himself as he walks through the garden, opting to stay a little bit, eyes glazed. It's making him relax, the more he looks around. Before he can help it, he comments loudly enough for anyone nearby to hear him. ]

[ 15th ]

[ What Chihiro didn't expect was to find those... plants hanging from ever doorway. He vaguely knows about what mistletoes are about, which makes him wary of anyone he crosses by as he tries to avoid stepping into rooms and the like until those things are gone. Because they'll be gone soon, right...?

Be careful that you don't happen to under one of the mistletoes with this little animal who's definitely not a boy! ]

though souji quickly reaches out the moment of impact so the other person doesn't fall.] Oh, sorry about that-

[ Leon hasn't even noticed them yet.. Oblivious.jpg is walking around right here in the hallways like nothing special is going on today, which is why he raises his hand in a greeting of sorts the moment he spots Chihiro standing in a doorway. ]

Yo, Fujisaki! [ Immediately making his way over, yup. CAN'T STOP THIS, CHIHIRO, he's practically under one with you now! Except he doesn't realise it's there.. ]

[ Lilly has never seen snow before. She could only feel its coldness, and sometimes Akira used to pull pranks on her by suddenly handing her a snowball when she least expected it.

... The sudden white she sees when she first opens the curtains this morning stuns her for a while. Even as she recovers and puts on a coat, scarf, and gloves, to face the cold temperature, she has yet to believe that what's falling from the sky and covering everything is actually snow.

Lilly decides to skip school today. Like a curious little girl, she's all over the campus, either making multiple footsteps in the snow, or gathering snow to make balls with her hands and place them like a line of little soldiers on a nearby table. All the while chuckling to herself. ]

[ 13th ]

[ Now that she's got the chance to actually cook without the limitations of when she was alive, Lilly's going to partake in the lesson and make the sweetest cookies ever! But because she's still a starter, she opts for simple chocolate chip cookies.

When she's done, Lilly will pass the cookies around to make everyone have a taste as well! But as you end up eating it... you'll see that she's put a liiiiiittle too much sugar in it. Not advisable if you have teeth problems. ]

[ he's gotten mystery food X and taste-tested for yukiko amagi. there is no way he doesn't have enough courage to eat someone's treat that is being passed around.

well, at least it's not spicy.. but that is a little too much sugar.. it's like a sugar rush. ] Ah.

12th, morning, because roomies why not

[ Yuri was still sleeping when Lilly had opened the curtains. To be honest, it was something of a surprise. She wasn't used to being roommates with someone who wasn't an NPC that she could just kick out on a moment's notice. Technically, she could still kick Lilly out but she hadn't decided if she minded the girl or not yet.

Even if it was snowing and therefore not sunny, it didn't mean it wasn't bright compared to what it looked like with the curtains down. ]

Go back to sleep already!

[ Yuri still hadn't gotten out from underneath her covers, mostly because it was cold. If it was this cold, it couldn't be well into the morning yet right? ]

12th, in the afternoon

[ And, while they're not quite little soldiers, the formation of the snowballs is noteworthy for the sake of the effort put into formation — so a bundled up Seijuro probably stops by her table on his own walk around campus, vaguely curious and smiling softly. ]

[Vin has no idea what "kendo" is, but it looks sort of like some sort of sparring so she finds a spot in a corner where she can see everything, sits, and watches.

She'll be here for a while.]

[She doesn't know what mistletoe is either so she's standing in a doorway staring up at some, tilting her head. Just how many types of plants are there? When she sees someone approach, she points up at the mistletoe.]

What is this? [Tell her what it is and what it means you have to do when you stand under it?]

He'll have mixed feelings on her being here - he is fairly sure he's dead, after all - once he's over the nice wonderful feelings of being with her again. ]

[ It was a massive lack of luck that Yuri happened to be trying to exit through that doorway, but now that there's someone's in the way, Yuri is avoiding the crap out of it. ]

It's a parasite that in some cultures means if you're standing underneath it with someone else, you have to kiss.

[ Elend is out and about, curious at the clean snow and ... perhaps a little worried for these odd green plants.

You may be able to catch him eating a small amount of snow, or trying to uncover plants. ]

[ So Elend isn't a student - but that's not going to stop him from attempting to cook - and getting flour over that teacher's uniform of his. He's never done this before.

Don't eat the first batch of sugar cookies. He didn't figure out he difference between salt and sugar.

The peppermint hot chocolate he's working on seems to be much better though. ]

.... This is a curious plant. [ Elend has found the mistletoe, and he's taken it down to look at it.

Someone might want to stop him from tasting the white things. It might not be the kind that makes people sick, but who knows? ]

[Ted is used to seeing snow at the same time as people tanning. So without the tanning, it's a little strange. Wait is this real snow? He holds out his hand to feel it come down. It lands on his palm, a second of cold. And wet!

His mouth opens in awe. Now he spreads out both hands to feel the snow falling on him. And is totally okay with being cold and wet]

[ There's a girl standing out near him, preparing a snowball. If he hasn't seen snow before, she's not going to prepare him for this or explain it. ]
